Honorable Benjamin Udobia
Political Leader
Esit Eket Local Government Area
Akwa Ivon State
Dear Honorable Udobia,
*Subject: Urgent Need for Basic Infrastructure Development in Esit Eket LGA*
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As a concerned resident of Esit Eket Local Government Area, I am writing to bring to your attention the pressing issue of inadequate basic infrastructure in our community.
Over the past few years, it has become increasingly evident that our local infrastructure—roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and water supply—has not kept pace with the growing needs of our population. Many roads are in disrepair, making transportation difficult and unsafe. The lack of reliable healthcare facilities has left many residents without access to essential medical services. Furthermore, our educational institutions are in dire need of improvement to provide our children with a conducive learning environment.
As the political leader of Esit Eket LGA, you have the advantage of interfacing with the Governor of the state as well as the local government chairman including other senior stakeholders within Esit Eket extraction therefore, your role is pivotal in addressing these challenges.
We believe that a well-structured plan to enhance basic infrastructure is essential for fostering economic growth, improving the quality of life for residents, and ensuring that our community thrives.
We kindly request that you share your vision and plans for addressing these infrastructure deficits while Interacting with these stakeholders as this should be part of the considerations for selecting a new Chairman aspirant.Specifically, we would like to know:
1. What immediate steps will be taken to repair and upgrade our roads?
2. Are there plans to improve healthcare services and facilities within our LGA, how upgrading cottage hospitals to an international standard?
3. How do you intend to enhance the quality of education in our local schools?
4. What measures will be implemented to ensure a reliable water supply for all residents?
5. What are the plans of bringing in a responsive police station befitting of our LGA
6. Our people cannot access banking services except they get to Eket, what's our plan?
We understand that these issues require significant resources and collaboration with various stakeholders. However, we believe that with your leadership and commitment, we can work together to create a brighter future for Esit Eket.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. We look forward to your response and are hopeful for positive changes in our community.
Sincerely,
Akan EssietEmma Asindi
