*Public Complaints Commission, Ogun State, Visits Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority*.
The Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Ogun State, on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, paid a courtesy and sensitization visit to the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA) at its Headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The delegation of the Ombudsman was led by the *Honourable Federal Commissioner, Hon. Morakinyo OgoOluwa Akinleye*, alongside the State Director/Director of Investigation, *Mrs. Omotayo A.O.*, and other members of the Commission’s management team.
Upon arrival, the team was warmly received by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, *Engr. Dr. Adedeji Ashiru*, alongside the Director of Legal Services, *Mrs. Judith Agu*, and other members of the Authority’s management team.
The visit was part of the ongoing sensitization and familiarization tour initiated by the Honourable Federal Commissioner since he assumed office. The initiative is aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration, promoting awareness of the Commission’s mandate, and enhancing service delivery across government institutions.
The Managing Director of OORBDA while expressing appreciation to the Honourable Federal Commissioner and his team for the visit, he further highlighted areas of mutual interest and outlined opportunities for strategic partnership between Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority and the Public Complaints Commission, particularly in addressing administrative complaints, improving transparency, and strengthening accountability in public service.
In his remarks, *Hon. Morakinyo OgoOluwa Akinleye* elaborated on the statutory mandate of the Public Complaints Commission as the nation’s Ombudsman, emphasizing its role in addressing citizens’ grievances, resolving administrative injustices, and fostering good governance. He also cited several case studies of complaints received and successfully resolved under his administration, demonstrating the Commission’s commitment to fairness, justice, and efficient dispute resolution.
The interactive session provided an opportunity for both agencies to exchange ideas, discuss operational challenges, and explore collaborative mechanisms for improved service delivery to the public.
The visit concluded on a positive and cordial note, with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to sustained collaboration, strengthened institutional relationships, and enhanced service delivery for the benefit of the public.
