I'm Olalekan Alex Shoyinka, popularly known as "Ayinla Egba" and I'm excited to be a candidate for the Chairmanship position of Abeokuta South Local Government. I went to school here; got businesses here. It’s where my family still lives and where neighbours feel like family, too. It’s a land with rich history and boundless potential whose time has come. Before I took the decision to join politics

, I have professionally as a broadcast journalist repeatedly called for safe streets, effective city services, responsive government, and the equitable investment we’ve long deserved. I’m eager to use that experience and blueprint for change - to work, build, and fight for our communities and those values at this important time in our local government story.
