Lesson from the Holy Qur'an:
Verily, all praise is for Allah. We praise Him, we seek His assistance and we ask for His forgiveness. And we seek refuge in Him from the evils of our selves. Whoever Allah guides, none can misguide. Whoever He misguides, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity other than Allah and I bear witness that Mohammad is His slave and messenger.
Surah An-Najm 53:24.

Does man imagine that whatever he wishes for is right for him?
Tafsir:

Allah the Ta'ala said, “Or shall man have what he wishes”, asserting that not everyone gets the goodness that he wishes.
In another verse of the Qur'an, Allah says,
"It will not be in accordance with desires (of Muslims), nor those of the People of Scripture.” (4:123).
Allah says, not everyone who claims to be guided is truly guided, and not everyone gets what he wishes for himself.
Imam Ahmad recorded in one Hadith that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
“When one of you wishes for something, let him be careful with what he wishes for, because he does not know what part of his wish will be written for him.” (Musnad Imam Ahmad 2:357).
Surah An-Najm 53:25.
To Allah belong both the Next World and the present.
Tafsir:
Allah’s statement, “But to Allah belongs the last and the first.” meaning, all matters belong to Allah and He is the King and Owner of this world and the Hereafter. He does what He will in both lives. What
