NEMA Pays Courtesy Visit to Ogun State Fire Service to Strengthen Emergency Response Collaboration

The National Emergency Management Agency paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Fire Service Headquarters in Onikoko, Abeokuta.

The visit, led by the Zonal Director, Mr. Akiode S.A.O., focused on building stronger synergy between NEMA and the Ogun State Fire Service to improve coordination in disaster and emergency response across the state.

During the meeting, both organizations discussed public sensitization campaigns, and improved communication channels for faster response to fire incidents, floods, and other emergencies. They also explored opportunities for resource sharing and data exchange to enhance operational efficiency.

The Director of the Ogun State Fire Service welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to working closely with NEMA to safeguard lives and property in Ogun State.
