As part of activities marking the 3rd Anniversary of the administration of Governor Alex C. Otti , Abia State will host a landmark Anniversary Lecture centered on governance, transformational leadership, and sustainable development.

The lecture, titled “Governance As Dignity: 3 Years of Impact and Shaping the Future of Abia State,” will be delivered by distinguished human rights scholar and Professor of Practice in International Human Rights Law, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu.

This important gathering will provide an opportunity to reflect on the milestones achieved by the present administration, while setting the tone for the next phase of growth, accountability, and people-driven governance in Abia State.

I was deeply honored to attend the 2026 Elective National Convention of the Labour Party, a truly remarkable and historic gathering for our great party @ ICC Umuahia.

I witnessed a well attended, peaceful, orderly, and democratic convention distinguished by transparency, credibility, and a shared unity of purpose. The successful conduct of the elections, as well as the inauguration of the new National Working Committee, clearly reflects our party’s unwavering commitment to due process, internal democracy, and progressive ideals.

This convention marks a proud and defining moment for the Labour Party, signifying a bold step forward toward stronger leadership, renewed vision, and greater victories ahead.

I must also specially appreciate His Excellency, Alex Otti OFR, the most performing governor, for his exemplary leadership, steadfast guidance, and continued support in strengthening our great party. Congratulations, Your Excellency.
