PARKING OUTSIDE DESIGNATED PARKING BAYS
Let’s Keep Sibu Safe, Orderly and Convenient for Everyone

The Enforcement Division of Sibu Municipal Council (SMC), through its Traffic Warden Unit, continues to monitor and enforce parking compliance, particularly in areas where vehicles are parked outside designated parking bays.

Despite repeated reminders, we still observe that some motorists continue to park outside designated bays. Such parking behaviour may obstruct traffic flow, cause congestion and inconvenience other road users.

Motorists are kindly reminded to park responsibly and use the designated parking bays provided.

Your cooperation plays an important role in maintaining safe, orderly and convenient roads for everyone.

Our enforcement efforts are not merely about issuing warnings or compounds, but also about encouraging responsible parking practices and maintaining a safer and more orderly road environment.

SAFETY ADVISORY DURING FREAK STORM / SEVERE WEATHER

Members of the public are advised to take the following safety precautions during a freak storm or severe weather:

1. If you are driving, please drive to a safe location and avoid parking or stopping under trees, signboards, or other structures that may fall.

2. Please stay indoors or in a safe building where possible. Beware of flying objects, falling branches and other debris during strong winds.

Your safety is our priority. Please stay alert and take necessary precautions.

Orang awam dinasihatkan supaya mengambil langkah-langkah keselamatan berikut semasa berlaku ribut luar biasa atau cuaca buruk:
