Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (SALCRA) was established in May 1976 under the Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority Ordinance 1976 to facilitate rural community development in Sarawak by developing idle, native lands into productive agricultural ventures in the hopes of raising economic status of the native communities dwelling in rural areas.

SALCRA officially attained certification for the 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐀𝐁𝐌𝐒) 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐒𝐎 𝟑𝟕𝟎𝟎𝟏:𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔, awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI) through Certificate No. IABMS 835433, effective 5 May 2026.

The certification encompasses Procurement Management, Financial Administration, Sales and Marketing and Human Resource Management, reflecting SALCRA’s compliance with the requirements within the certified scope in supporting its operational activities.

This achievement represents a significant milestone in reinforcing a work culture grounded in transparency, ethical practices and continuous improvement, supported through the implementation of the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) and ongoing governance and integrity-related initiatives.

Receiving this certification during 𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐂𝐑𝐀’𝐬 𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 carries added significance as the organisation commemorates five decades of service in land development and socio-economic development across its areas of operation.

Deepest appreciation is extended to the General Manager, YBhg. Datu Joseph Blandoi, for his visionary leadership, strong commitment and continued emphasis on integrity, accountability and good governance in strengthening SALCRA’s institutional culture. Appreciation is also extended to the Jawatankuasa Tatakelola SALCRA, Integrity Unit team, Certified Integrity Officers, auditors, Management Committee, officers, staff and all parties involved whose dedication and collective commitment contributed meaningfully towards this achievement.

A legacy built with purpose. A future shaped with discipline.

𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗥𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 marks a defining milestone, commemorating fifty years of dedicated service in developing land, uplifting communities, and contributing to Sarawak’s socio-economic progress. The celebration commenced with the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗬𝗕𝗵𝗴. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝘂 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶, officiating the exhibition gallery. He was accompanied by the Deputy General Manager, Mr S***n Sentok, and members of the Management Committee. The exhibition offered a curated reflection of SALCRA’s journey, highlighting its evolution, achievements, and forward direction.

The programme proceeded with the singing of the National and State Anthems, followed by a prayer and a choir performance. Welcoming remarks by the Chairman of the Main Organising Committee for SALCRA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, Mr Jeffrey Stephen Beti, recognised the collective effort behind this significant milestone. This was followed by a special address by the General Manager, YBhg. Datu Joseph Blandoi.

In his address, Datu Joseph underscored a defining principle. Fifty years is not a point of arrival, but a responsibility to advance with greater clarity and discipline. Datu Joseph emphasised the need to strengthen productivity, sharpen ex*****on, maintain cost discipline, and reinforce data driven, performance based decision making. Innovation must be purposeful, while governance and integrity remain uncompromised as the foundation of sustainable progress.

The occasion also featured a special awards presentation, honouring individuals whose contributions have strengthened the organisation’s journey. A live virtual connection with staff across operating units enabled wider participation in the celebration, reinforcing unity across all locations.

Since its establishment on 1 May 1976, SALCRA has remained guided by a clear and consistent mandate to develop land in a structured and sustainable manner while enhancing the well being of landowners and rural communities. From modest beginnings, it has grown into a resilient and respected organisation, built on discipline, trust, and continuity of purpose.

This milestone stands as a testament to the dedication of its people across estates, mills, and offices, whose collective effort continues to sustain and strengthen SALCRA’s foundation.

Looking ahead, the organisation remains focused on strengthening resilience, creating long term value, and ensuring that its contributions continue to benefit future generations. The journey continues. The responsibility remains. The future will be defined by the discipline of our actions today.

As the day came to a close, attendees left not just with memories, but with a shared sense of pride and gratitude, having witnessed a meaningful milestone in SALCRA’s journey. It was a celebration of people, purpose, and progress, one that will continue to inspire as we move forward together.

Setiap langkah ke hadapan membuka ruang kepada peluang yang lebih besar. Di sinilah perjalanan itu diteruskan.

Buat pertama kalinya, SALCRA menyertai Agrofest Limbang 2026 atas jemputan Jabatan Pertanian Sarawak, sebuah platform yang menghimpunkan pemain industri, usahawan dan komuniti dalam memperkukuh ekosistem pertanian negeri. 🤝 Program ini berlangsung dari 23 hingga 26 April 2026 dan menjadi lokasi pembuka bagi siri jelajah Agrofest peringkat bahagian sebelum kemuncaknya di Bintulu.

Majlis perasmian telah disempurnakan oleh YB Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Timbalan Menteri, mewakili YB Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, Menteri Industri Makanan, Komoditi dan Pembangunan Wilayah Sarawak. 📢 Pelbagai pengisian telah disediakan, termasuk pengiktirafan kepada usahawan tempatan, penyaluran bantuan pertanian serta lawatan ke ruang pameran dan jualan.

Sepanjang penganjuran, ruang pameran SALCRA menjadi titik interaksi yang mendekatkan peranan agensi kepada masyarakat. Orang ramai berpeluang memahami dengan lebih jelas usaha pembangunan tanah yang dilaksanakan, khususnya dalam memperkukuh kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat luar bandar di Sarawak.

Menerusi sesi temu bual bersama Limbang FM, Pengurus Besar SALCRA, YBhg. Datu Joseph Blandoi, turut berkongsi mengenai hala tuju serta inisiatif pembangunan yang dilaksanakan, termasuk pendekatan pengurusan yang mampan dan usaha berterusan dalam memperkasa komuniti melalui peluang ekonomi. 📻

Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada para pengunjung yang telah meluangkan masa mengunjungi ruang pameran SALCRA dan anak syarikatnya, Sarawak Fertilizer Sdn Bhd (SFSB). Kehadiran dan sokongan anda amat dihargai. 🙏

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗣-𝗨𝗣 & 𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

14–15 April 2026 | Bajo Training Centre, Lundu

A key milestone was marked at Bajo Training Centre as SALCRA concluded its Performance Review 2025 series, organised by the Finance Department. Following the session held in March, the Wrap-Up brought together a focused and forward-looking discussion on performance and priorities ahead.

The General Manager, YBhg. Datu Joseph Blandoi, delivered the wrap-up session, setting the tone for the next phase. SALCRA recorded a satisfactory overall performance for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, with many departments and operating units meeting or exceeding their KPI Quadrant targets, reflecting the collective discipline and commitment across the organisation.

In outlining the way forward, Datu Joseph emphasised the need to strengthen ex*****on across core operational areas, particularly in productivity, quality, cost discipline and governance, as SALCRA continues to build a more performance-driven and market-responsive foundation. The session also outlined the Budget Objective Setting for 2027 and the Revised 2026 Outlook, shaped by prevailing conditions and the need for continued capability enhancement. Priorities remain centred on profitability, growth, social inclusivity, governance and compliance, as well as strong administrative support to operations, in alignment with Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030).

Following a short break, departments and units presented their Budget Objective Setting, KPI Quadrant targets, budget parameters and CAPEX proposals for 2027 to the Budget and Performance Committee, led by Datu Joseph, together with the Deputy General Manager, Mr S***n Sentok and the Financial Controller, Mr Addie Ngu Yii Ee. The session continued with selected Estate Managers presenting current estate performance, receiving direct guidance from the Committee, providing a constructive platform for alignment and real-time capacity strengthening.

The session concluded with a shared clarity of direction and strengthened focus across all levels. As SALCRA marks its 𝟱𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, the organisation remains committed to building on its legacy with purpose and discipline, for the benefit of its stakeholders, communities and future generations.

With a sense of pride and gratitude following the launch of SALCRA 50th Anniversary logo on 26 March 2026 in the Saratok Region, the spirit of celebration and shared purpose carried into the Headquarters Assembly held on 6 April 2026 at Wisma SALCRA.

The gathering brought staff together to reconnect, refocus, and realign, strengthening a shared sense of purpose as the organisation continues its journey through a milestone year. The session commenced in unity with the National Anthem, State Anthem, SALCRA Maju, and prayers, followed by brief updates highlighting ongoing efforts and progress across the organisation.

During the session, the Human Resource Manager, Mr Alexander Wong, delivered a health sharing on staff medical trends for the period 2024 to present. The session emphasised the importance of regular health screening, awareness, and balanced lifestyle practices in supporting staff well-being and organisational performance.

In his remarks, the General Manager, YBhg. Datu Joseph Blandoi, underscored that strong organisational performance is anchored in discipline, clear accountability, and consistent ex*****on. Datu Joseph further emphasised the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being, particularly among staff in their prime working years, as a foundation for sustained productivity and contribution.

In addressing current operating conditions, Datu Joseph highlighted external challenges, including rising input costs and uncertainties in the supply of key inputs, including fertiliser. He called for prudent stock management, timely ex*****on of field operations, and strict cost discipline, with priority given to activities that directly support organisational performance.

As SALCRA steps into its 50th year, staff were encouraged to actively support upcoming programmes and initiatives, contributing to a shared journey that continues to evolve.

The assembly concluded on an uplifting note, with a renewed sense of connection, purpose, and readiness, as all move forward together with discipline, unity, and a clear focus.

The heat is on as SALCRA kicks off its MasterChef Challenge 2026 – 1st Series (Saratok Region), held at Roban South OPE, Saratok. This exciting culinary showdown forms part of the celebration of SALCRA’s 50th Anniversary, bringing together staff in a vibrant display of teamwork, creativity, and passion for cooking.

A total of 10 teams (20 participants) showcased their cooking talents in an intense 1 hour 30 minutes challenge, following an exciting countdown led by Human Resource Manager, Mr Alexander Wong. The competition was organised by KRES, coordinated by Madam Filadelfia Josali, and evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges comprising KRES leadership and management representatives.

After a thrilling showcase of culinary skills and presentation, the winners for the 1st Series (Saratok Region) are:
