We started to explore the possibility of using lasers to create other kinds of local networks to communicate with the future, and began to engrave rocks using a glyphic alphabet of our own design. During public workshops and interventions, we invite people to use our laser to carve their predictions and warnings into rocks, and later redistribute the engravings throughout the region.

Part site-specific minimalist installation, part laboratory and workshop, this platform invites direct participation and creates an opportunity for manifesting anxieties about the future.

A través del proyecto Imaginario Inverso buscamos investigar los efectos de la industrialización del imaginario social a través de la comercialización del conocimiento científico. Proponemos un framework para reflexionar sobre la geopolítica del desarrollo tecnológico y reinterpretar algunas tecnologías para obedecer a lógicas personales o colectivas.

Narrativas Hacia el Futuro es una serie de talleres que suceden en El Paso y Ciudad Juárez durante el mes de Noviembre, enfocados en analizar las posibilidades de las tecnologías de comunicación en un contexto futurista. Proponemos dinámicas colectivas de prototipado conceptual, apropiación tecnológica, y micronarrativas para crear un catálogo de tecnologías futuras y narrativas que formarán parte de una instalación expandida donde grabaremos rocas de la región por medio de un sistema láser.
