Today, at the ongoing 36th Malawi International Trade Fair, our team is engaging students in awareness sessions on legal cannabis and its benefits.

Students are learning about medicinal cannabis, industrial h**p, the legal framework governing the sector and the opportunities the industry presents for investment, innovation and job creation.

The initiative forms part of the Authority’s efforts to promote public awareness and responsible participation in the legal cannabis industry.

Day 2 of the 36th Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) was marked by the Business Forum proudly sponsored by Standard bank, which provided a platform for business leaders and policymakers to discuss key issues and created opportunities for business-to-business networking.

The day was crowned by an awards ceremony, where Invegrow emerged as the winner of the Best SME Exhibitor Award, proudly representing the Cannabis Value Chain’s contribution to promoting economic stability through enhanced production and industrialization.

The Cannabis Regulatory Authority Malawi is proud to be part of the 36th Malawi International Trade Fair (MITF) at the Trade Fair Grounds in Blantyre from 21st to 29th May, 2026.

This year’s theme is, “Promoting Economic Stability Through Enhanced Production and Industrialization.” The Cannabis Value Chain is represented by Nexgen Limited (Research and Cultivation & Sell of Medicinal Cannabis), MMC Laboratories (Cultivation & Sell. Processing & Research of Medicinal Cannabis), Cann Leisure Centre (Industrial H**p Products) and Invegrow (Cultivation & Sell, Processing of Industrial H**p Products, as well as Cultivation & Sell of Medicinal Cannabis).
