🧡🧡🧡Day 8 of the 16 Days of Activism🧡🧡🧡
Members of The Dedza Gender Technical Working Group held a powerful Digital GBV session at Chawa Community Day Secondary. We are creating a space for learners to speak up, learn, question, and understand their rights online and emphasized on
digital safety, respect, and their responsibility.

We spent the day engaging with our young men at Dedza Secondary School in a powerful discussion on Digital GBV reminding them that respect, consent, and safety matter just as much in digital spaces as in real life.

We equipped the learners with tools to navigate the digital world safely and confidently, emphasizing that they are key agents in preventing harm. Because ending Digital GBV starts with their awareness, their education, and their commitment to building a safe, equitable online community for everyone🧡🧡🧡.

What an incredible day with the future leaders! Today we talked with learners from Katsekaminga Community Day Secondary School, our session focused on turning the tide against Digital Gender Based Violence by shifting the power back to the young users🧡🧡🧡.

We equipped the learners with the knowledge to identify, prevent, and speak out against Digital Gender Based Violence because every young person deserves safety online and offline.

In the spirit of the 16 Days of Activism, we spent the day engaging with learners from Mchisu Community Day Secondary School in powerful conversations on Digital GBV raising their voices, strengthening awareness, and protecting their rights. Together, we explored how respect, responsibility, and positive online behavior can help end digital violence. Today’s session reminded us that informed young people are key agents of change, and their commitment to creating safe digital spaces brings us closer to a world where every girl and every young person can thrive online and offline 🧡🧡🧡.

This year, we raise our voices louder than ever as we stand united against online violence targeting women and girls.
The digital space should be a place of connection, learning, and empowerment but for many, it has become a space of harassment, threats, shaming, and abuse. Online violence is real, it is harmful, and it affects the safety, confidence, and opportunities of countless women and girls every single day.

As we begin the 16 Days of Activism, we commit ourselves to creating safer digital spaces where every woman and girl can participate freely, express themselves without fear, and access opportunities without intimidation.

Together, we can transform the digital world into a space of respect, equality, and dignity.
This year, we choose action. We choose unity. We choose to end online violence once and for all.
