Friends of Angela House Angela House is a residential Home for children run by the Ursuline Sisters. Angela House is a Children’s Home run by the Ursuline Sisters.

We care for 33 children all coming from painful backgrounds for one reason or another. Our mission is to provide them with a safe haven where to live, where they can learn resilience and to keep moving on in spite of what they have been through with their families. We look after their physical and psychological health, their education and all they need to grow into successful and responsible citiz

ens. Angela House has been built 60 years ago and was the first one of its kind to be built in different apartments to house a group of children together with a Sister in a family group, keeping siblings together. Over the years many developments have taken place at Angela House. We have built a gym which also houses a dance room and therapy rooms where the children can meet their play therapists/psychologists. We have refurbished the swimming pool making it larger and up to safety standards. We are now in the process of revamping the children’s play area with new equipment and synthetic turf. All this requires much funding and we are organising many activities to help fund raise enough money for this to be made possible
