Dr Klown Dr Klown is a registered Maltese voluntary organisation (VO/0582), active since 2011 in Mater Dei & G

Dr Klown was set-up with the aim of offering clown doctor services in Mater Dei Hospital. Volunteers underwent a specialised training programme including artisitic skill development as well psychological support and training. All volunteers underwent a personal training need assessment and specialist training in both fields was given. All clowns have their distinct character and are geared to maki

ng hospital less boring for children recovered there. The charcters and acts by the clown doctors are guaranteed to make everyone smile and laugh including staff and families.

We also want to give a special shout out to MCAST arts student Amy Theuma, whose beautiful monument 'Ring The Bell' will now remain in the SAMOC internal garden as a tribute to all those children who gained wings πŸͺ½πŸ””
