PASSPORTS AVAILABLE FOR RELEASE Releasing Time: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 11:00am, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Please bring the following: - Official receipt; and - Old passport.

For applicants who cannot claim their new passport themselves, the following are the requirements:

A. Claiming of Passports for immediate family members*:
a. Authorization letter (must mention affiliation with applicant);
b. Original receipt and old passport; and Valid ID (original and photocopy) of applicant and representative.
* Immediate family members of legal age such as parents, brother, sister, spouse or children

B. Claiming of Passports for non-immediate family members:
a. Authorization letter notarized/legalized by Mukata’a;
b. Original receipt and old passport; and
c. Valid ID (original and photocopy) of applicant and representative indicated in the Authorization letter.

C. Claiming of Passports for minor applicants:
a. If passport will be claimed by the mother, claimant must present original receipt, old passport and her valid ID with photocopy.
b. If the passport will be claimed by the father, the claimant must present the original receipt, old passport and his valid ID with photocopy and PSA documents indicating proof of parental authority over the minor.

New Passport will not be released if these requirements are not complied with.

Filipinos based in Casablanca registered as overseas voters in Morocco for the 2028 National and Local Elections during the Embassy-facilitated overseas registration in Casablanca on 29 April 2026.

The next Embassy-led overseas registration in Casablanca will be held on 27 May 2026.

Morocco is at the center of the upcoming Prime Video series Love Is Never Gone, a Filipino romantic action-drama starring Joshua Garcia and Filipino-Moroccan actress Ivana Alawi, set to be released on May 8.

The series marks Garcia and Alawi’s first on-screen pairing, as well as the first Filipino teleserye filmed in Morocco, where production began in November 2025.

Joshua Garcia also highlighted the country through his visual project “Morocco on Film”, where he shared film-style images from the shoot and his travels across the Kingdom.

The filipino series set partly in Morocco, is a romantic action drama that follows a story of love, crime and revenge. It uses the kingdom’s streets, deserts and landscapes to build a cinematic and international atmosphere.

With Love Is Never Gone, Morocco gains new visibility in Southeast Asian entertainment and places the country inside a Filipino mainstream series showing its growing appeal as a filming destination for international stories.

MEKNES, 27 April 2026 – Marking its first participation in a major Moroccan exposition, the Philippines proudly showcased its food products at the 18th edition of the International Agricultural Show in Meknes, Morocco (SIAM).

The Philippine booth was curated to meet the evolving demands of modern, fast-paced, and wellness-oriented consumers. The exhibit featured a range of organic, coconut-based products from Lionheart Farms, alongside ginseng-infused instant coffee and premium, protein-rich canned options from leading Philippine food companies Century Pacific and Mega Prime Foods.

The products successfully captured the interest of Moroccan importers and distributors who expressed distinct interest in corned beef and luncheon meat, primarily due to these products’ novelty, as well as tuna and sardines. Beyond the exhibited goods, Moroccan buyers actively sought to explore trade opportunities for Philippine fresh produce, specifically coconut, ube, mangoes, bananas, and pineapples, as well as cosmetics formulated with natural ingredients. The appeal of the Philippine products also drew trade inquiries from representatives of Hungary, Poland, and Tunisia.

Capitalizing on this momentum, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) Dubai Trade Commissioner Vichael Angelo D. Roaring and the Department of Agriculture Attaché Michael R. Sollera conducted market scanning activities at the sidelines of the exposition to assess the potential of Philippine products’ market competitiveness, and identify new avenues for deeper trade and investment partnerships between the Philippines and Morocco.

The Philippine participation in SIAM coincides with the commemoration of Philippine Food Month this April. Aligned with this year’s theme, “Connected by Taste: The Filipino Food in the Flavors of ASEAN,” Philippine presence in SIAM not only presented the nation's rich culinary heritage as a cultural asset but also as a vital catalyst for economic growth and international cooperation.
