The Medical Director, Management, and staff of the TB Annex Hospital, Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia , extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family, colleagues, friends, and associates of Madam Quintina Cooper Davis, Director of the Gender and Social Inclusion Unit (GSIU), Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia, whose passing has left a profound void within the Ministry of Health and the wider public health community.

Madam Cooper Davis was a dedicated public servant whose commitment to gender equality, social inclusion, equity, and the advancement of vulnerable and marginalized populations contributed meaningfully to Liberia’s health sector. Through her leadership at the Gender and Social Inclusion Unit, she championed an important cause that sought to ensure that no one was left behind in accessing essential services and opportunities.

Her passing is not only a loss to her family but also to the Ministry of Health, her colleagues, partners, and the many people whose lives and work were positively influenced by her service and dedication.

DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

Management of TB Annex Hospital, Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia Mourns the Passing of Mr. Omaru Sackor

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that the Management and Staff of TB Annex Hospital announce the peaceful homegoing of Mr. Omaru Sackor, an Electrician and employee of the Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia, assigned to the TB Annex Hospital.

Mr. Sackor departed this life on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 3:45 PM, following a protracted period of illness.

During his years of service at TB Annex Hospital, Mr. Sackor distinguished himself as a dedicated member of the hospital family. His commitment to his duties and contribution to the maintenance and smooth operation of the hospital will remain remembered by his colleagues and friends.

As a devoted Muslim, his remains were laid to rest today, Friday, August 28, 2026, in keeping with Islamic traditions.

His passing has left a profound void within the TB Annex Hospital family. Management and staff extend heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, relatives, friends, colleagues, and all those who mourn his passing.

At this difficult moment, we pray that Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, grants him eternal peace, and gives his family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
