Senator Moye Expands Humanitarian and Developmental Support Across B**g County

B**g County Senator Prince K. Moye Sr. has continued his humanitarian and developmental interventions across B**g County, responding to appeals from residents and community groups during his ongoing county tour.
According to Abel R. Okai, Administrative Assistant in Senator Moye’s office, the latest interventions are based on requests made by communities during the Senator’s visits and engagements with residents.
The assistance targets education, women’s empowerment, youth development, sports, religious institutions, and community infrastructure.
1. Veleyan Community, Konowolala, Salala District
In Veleyan Community, Konowolala, Senator Moye provided the following assistance:
30 bags of cement to support the construction of a sitting place for women.
L$50,000 as an initial contribution to support volunteer teachers who are not currently on the government payroll.
Five bundles of zinc to support community development.
Two sets of football and two sets of jerseys for young people in the community.
The support is expected to contribute to ongoing community activities while providing assistance to volunteer teachers and young people.
2. Gweeta Community, Salala District
In Gweeta Community, Senator Moye donated:
15 bundles of zinc to the Apostolic Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
The materials are intended to support ongoing construction and improvement work at the church.
3. Saworlor Community — Panta District
In Saworlor, Panta District, Senator Moye provided:
L$300,000 in financial assistance to support market women and their economic activities.
50 bags of cement to support the renovation of the community’s market hall.
The assistance is expected to help improve the conditions of the market facility while providing direct financial support to women engaged in commerce.
According to Senator Moye’s office, the interventions are part of his continued efforts to respond to the needs of constituents and support community-driven development across B**g County.
The ongoing county tour has also provided Senator Moye an opportunity to interact directly with residents, hear their concerns, and identify areas where his office can provide assistance.
The latest interventions demonstrate a focus on women’s empowerment, education, youth development, sports, religious institutions, and community infrastructure, as Senator Moye continues his engagements with communities across the county.
His office says the Senator will continue to listen to community concerns and provide support where possible as the county tour progresses.
