A successful completion of the Liberia Technology Summit 2026

Key achievements include:

Presidential recognition: The President signed a proclamation designating July 21 as Liberia Technology Summit Day, giving the summit a permanent place on the national calendar.

National policy announcement: The launch of the AFL Cybersecurity Cadet Program connected the summit to a concrete national capacity-building initiative.

Major growth in participation: Attendance increased from 515 attendees in 2025 to more than 1,600 in 2026—an increase of over 210%, more than tripling participation.

Improved event format: Shifting from presentation-heavy panels to audience-driven Q&A discussions likely made sessions more interactive, practical, and engaging.

Startup World Cup: Successfully concluding the Startup World Cup Liberia competition positioned Liberia within a recognized global innovation ecosystem. KRONYX, a Liberian-owned and operated company, was the winner of this inaugural competition.

Live innovation demonstrations: Liberian founders, developers, and builders demonstrated working products and locally developed solutions before a national audience. This moved the summit beyond discussion and showed that Liberia’s technology ecosystem is actively building.

Purposeful networking format: The summit created structured opportunities for founders, investors, government officials, corporate leaders, development partners, and young professionals to connect. Networking became part of the program itself rather than an informal activity between

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. to Attend Liberia Technology Summit 2026, Reaffirming Government’s Commitment to Digital Transformation

MONROVIA, Liberia — The Liberia Technology Summit 2026 (LTS 2026) Organizing Committee, in partnership with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MOPT), announces that His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, will attend and deliver keynote remarks at this year’s Summit, taking place July 21–22, 2026, at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.

This year’s program includes the Startup World Cup Liberia Finals, the launch of the AFL Cybersecurity Cadet Program, and a Women, Youth, and Technology Forum, with continued partnership from Orange Liberia and Afreximbank, building on the digital governance framework established under Executive Order No. 163.

“The President’s presence affirms that digital transformation is central to this Administration’s agenda,” said Hon. Sekou M. Kromah, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.

Hon. Samuel A. Stevquoah, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, has been named National Chairman of the LTS 2026.

The Liberia Technology Summit has received several requests from companies and founders in Liberia to speak at the upcoming summit July 21-22, in Monrovia.
