HON. YEAKEH SAYEQUEE: A JOURNEY OF SERVICE, LEADERSHIP, AND COMMUNITY IMPACT
Hon. Yeakeh Sayequee is a Liberian public servant, businessman, and community advocate known for his commitment to service and development.
He serves as Operations Manager of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC), where he contributes to the management of one of Liberia’s key state-owned institutions responsible for petroleum storage and distribution.
Alongside his professional responsibilities, Sayequee has supported humanitarian and community initiatives, including vocational education, tuition assistance, and training opportunities for students. He has also backed skills-development programs for women and assistance for small business owners, earning appreciation from civic groups and residents in parts of Montserrado and Nimba Counties.
In 2023, he entered national politics as an independent candidate for the House of Representatives in Montserrado County Electoral District #10. His campaign emphasized youth empowerment, education, job creation, infrastructure development, and expanded opportunities for local communities. Although he did not win the seat, the campaign strengthened his public profile as a leader committed to national development.
