NRF MANAGER JOINS INFRASTRUCTURE-FINANCING VISIT TO GHANA

The Manager of the National Road Fund of Liberia, Mrs. Joseta Neufville-Wento, accompanied by Mr. Ernest Cooper, an Engineering Assistant, joined Public Works Minister Hon. Roland L. Giddings on a working and learning visit to the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund from August 13–14, 2026.

The engagement focused on innovative infrastructure financing, project bankability, public-private partnerships, climate finance, institutional governance, and sustainable investment.

The NRF’s participation underscores its commitment to strengthening Liberia’s road-financing system through regional cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and innovative funding solutions..

NRF MANAGER INSPIRES YOUNG PEOPLE AT NATIONAL YOUTH-GOVERNMENT DIALOGUE

On August 12, 2026, International Youth Day, Mrs. Joseta Neufville-Wento, Manager of the National Road Fund of Liberia, served as the maiden guest of the Federation of Liberian Youth’s National Youth-Government Dialogue.

Her message was clear:

“Be disciplined. Be intentional. Invest in your professional development.”

She encouraged institutions to create opportunities for young people, noting: “Someone once took a risk with her; we must continue to take risk with young people.”

Mrs. Neufville-Wento applauded FLY President Ernest Duku Jallah and pledged the NRF’s continued support, including through the NRF S.T.E.A.M. Internship Program.

“When young people are given opportunities, they do not only build careers, they help build the nation.

We’re launching the National Youth-Government Dialogue this International Youth Day, August 12, creating a space for young people to sit directly with government officials to ask questions, share ideas, and work together on practical solutions.

Our maiden guest is Mrs. Joseta Neufville-Wento, Manager of the National Road Fund of Liberia and one of the youngest heads of a public institution. Roads affect how young people access jobs, education, healthcare, businesses, and opportunities. The National Road Fund of Liberia (NRF) is pleased to announce the final list of successful applicants who have qualified for the 3rd Cohort of the NRF S.T.E.A.M. Internship Program for 2026.

Soft Skills Training for all selected interns will commence on Monday, July 20, 2026.
