As classes officially commence at our prestigious institution, the African Methodist Episcopal University, for the first semester of this academic yearβ2024/2025, today, the 16th of September 2024, it is with absolute honor, that I want to welcome every students of our University back to school, as we happily unite in our quest for personal professional development, and our shared purpose in βpursuit of excellenceβ like our institution's vision states.
I celebrate the resilience and determination of every student to keep pushing forward despite numerous challenges that often impede academic journey; and to the hardworking parents and guardians who continue to endure the struggle to meet the financial obligations that come with our education, I salute your dedication to our pursuit, amid prevailing contemporary economic hurdles that continue to stall tuition payments. Also, to my fellow students who are faced with difficulties in servicing their tuition payments, I encourage you to be strong, and know that you are not alone in this struggle, and with faith, God or Allah will see you through.
To the administrators, faculty members, and academic and non-academic support staffs, I, on behalf of our institution, the United Students Alliance-AMEU, thank you for your exemplary leadership and dedication to providing quality education to the students of AMEU. While we are aware of the several challenges school administrators face in providing the standards of education we desired, it's, however, important to note that their continued commitment to educating the minds of our country's tomorrow generation of leaders is priceless, and we truly appreciate thier invaluable efforts and meaningful contributions to building of nationβs future Leaders.
Let's continue to embrace ourselves for the challenges ahead, and as well as make use of every opportunity as we peacefully coexist while pursuing our studies in our respective disciplines.
Again, I say, welcome back to school
