FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

REVOLUTIONARY COMMUNIQUÉ

THE STUDENT REFORMATION PARTY (SRP)

Immediate Suspension of Cde. Oumu Sall from the Student Reformation Party

The Student Reformation Party (SRP), a movement founded upon the uncompromising principles of discipline, ideological clarity, collective responsibility, and revolutionary commitment, hereby announces the immediate suspension of Cde. Oumu Sall from all Party activities and structures, effective immediately, pending the conclusion of the Party’s disciplinary process.

Effective immediately, Cde. Sall is directed to cease and desist from participating in, organizing, representing, or speaking on behalf of the Student Reformation Party in any capacity. She is further instructed to distance herself from all Party meetings, programs, mobilization, communications, and organizational affairs until a final determination has been reached.

The SRP is not a platform for indiscipline, opportunism, or any conduct that undermines the collective strength of our movement. Our struggle demands commitment, accountability, and unwavering respect for organizational principles. We shall never compromise the integrity of the Party by accommodating conduct that is inconsistent with our Constitution and revolutionary values.

This decision serves as a clear reminder that the authority of the Party shall always prevail over individual interests. No member, irrespective of title, influence, or external affiliation, is exempt from the rules and discipline that govern our organization.

We therefore direct all cadres, organizers, and supporters of the Student Reformation Party to recognize and fully comply with this decision. Any individual acting contrary to this directive or attempting to undermine the Party’s disciplinary measures does so at their own risk and may be subject to further disciplinary action in accordance with the Party’s Constitution.

The revolution only advances through discipline.

GRATITUDE TO SRP SUPPORTERS AND VETERANS

To every student, volunteer, veteran, and well wisher who believed in our vision for a reformed, transparent, and student centered government, we say thank you. Your time, resources, courage, and trust carried this campaign.

While the elections presented both achievements and concerns, your participation proved that a significant portion of the student body continues to demand accountability, transparency, and principled leadership. The spirit and vision of this movement do not end here.

CONCERNS REGARDING THE ELECTORAL PROCESS

The SRP remains deeply concerned about several incidents observed and documented throughout the electoral period, which we believe raise serious questions regarding the integrity and neutrality of the electoral process. These include:

- Unwarranted interference by members of the Electoral Commission in polling activities and oversight.
- Delayed release of voter registers, inconsistent enforcement of electoral guidelines, and discrepancies in election day procedures.

We believe these matters deserve fair, transparent, and independent review through the appropriate institutional channels. Our commitment remains to the students of Stella Maris Polytechnic University and to the principle that student leadership must emerge through a credible and impartial process.

We hereby urge the administration and all responsible bodies to address these concerns responsibly and transparently in order to maintain public confidence in future student elections.

To the students of Stella Maris Polytechnic University, your voices matter. To all elected officials, we encourage leadership rooted in fairness, openness, and accountability.

The Student Reformation Party remains committed to reform, service, student advocacy, and the defense of democratic principles within our institution.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STUDENT REFORMATION PARTY (SRP) REJECTS FRAUDULENT AND MISLEADING ELECTION RESULTS, DEMANDS IMMEDIATE ELECTORAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Monrovia, Liberia – May 16, 2026

The Student Reformation Party (SRP) of Stella Maris Polytechnic University formally raises grave concerns regarding serious procedural irregularities observed during and after the conduct of the May 15, 2026 Student Representative Council elections.

Following an internal review of the electoral process and tally documentation, the Party has identified several discrepancies that cast significant doubt on the credibility, transparency, and accuracy of the results currently being circulated. These irregularities include inconsistencies in ballot reconciliation, discrepancies in the tally figures announced during the sorting process compared to the final tally sheet, incomplete accounting records, and unresolved questions surrounding the handling and verification of ballots.

Particularly troubling are:
• The discrepancy between the 943 ballots reportedly used during sorting and the later figure of 947 ballots reflected on the tally sheet;
• The unexplained issue of only 915 ballots initially found in the presidential ballot box, leaving 28 ballots unaccounted for at that stage;
• Reports that ballots were allegedly mixed into another ballot box without transparent verification;
• Mathematical inconsistencies in recorded vote totals within the Secretary race; and
• Incomplete reconciliation and accounting sections on the official tally documentation.
• Bulk counting of the unused ballot paper instead of single count.

The Student Reformation Party believes these issues warrant immediate and independent scrutiny. Electoral integrity is the cornerstone of democratic pillow in student governance, and any process lacking transparency undermines confidence in the legitimacy of the final outcome.

Accordingly, SRP has formally petitioned the appropriate authorities for a full independent review, verification, and reconciliation of the electoral process conducted by the Independent Elections Commission (IEC).

We wish to assure all students, supporters, and members of the Stella Maris community that the Student Reformation Party remains committed to pursuing truth, fairness, and justice through lawful and democratic channels.

We call on the University Administration, the IEC, and all relevant oversight bodies to act swiftly and transparently to address these concerns in order to preserve confidence in the student democratic process.

Fellow Reformist, let's remain calm, patience, and vigilance as we continue to challenge these discrepancies and defend the integrity of every legitimate vote cast.

10/05/2026

The Reformist Movement remains an ally to the Student Unification Party (SUP) because history has taught us that progressive student forces must unite against oppression, injustice, corruption, and the continuous neglect of students’ welfare. Though independent in structure and ideology, Reformists recognize SUP as a historic force in the struggle for conscious student activism, and resistance against systems that undermine the rights and dignity of students and ordinary people.

Our alliance is built on shared revolutionary principles: the defense of academic freedom, social justice, and the empowerment of the masses. We believe that when conscious student organizations stand together, the voice of the oppressed becomes louder, stronger, and impossible to silence.

As Reformists, we remain committed to constructive solidarity with all progressive institutions that seek transformation over complacency, action over silence, and liberation over exploitation. The struggle for a better student community and society is collective, and history will always favor those who stand with the people.

Long live the Student Reformation Party!
