Gbeimie Urges Graie Residents to Celebrate Flag Day in Unity

The Executive Director of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), Mr. Mentee Gbeimie, has extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the people of Graie Town, District #9, Nimba County, as Liberia celebrates National Flag Day.

In a special message to the community, Mr. Gen Mentee Gbeimie called on residents to use the occasion to strengthen peace, unity, cultural pride, and togetherness among the people of Graie.
He said his greatest desire is to see Graie remain “strong, peaceful, and unbroken in purpose,” emphasizing that national pride begins within communities when citizens come together with one mind and one purpose.

Mr. Gbeimie also encouraged the sons and daughters of Graie to gather around the matching drum set recently gifted to the community, describing the traditional drums as more than instruments of entertainment.

According to him, the drums represent a cultural call to gather, a heartbeat that unites the people, and a bridge connecting Graie’s heritage with its future.
He urged residents to allow the sound of the drums to bring families and community members together at a central location, saying the celebration should demonstrate that “our culture is our strength, our unity is our power, and our flag represents us all.”

Mr. Gbeimie further called on the people of Graie to put aside their differences and celebrate National Flag Day in genuine unity, allowing the beating of the drums to send a clear message that Graie stands together.

He concluded his message with a prayer for blessings upon Graie Town, District #9, and the Republic of Liberia.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Mentee Gbeimie, has donated a brand-new, modern matching drum to the people of Graie, District #9, Nimba County, ahead of Liberia’s August 24 Flag Day celebration.

The donation is intended to support the community’s cultural activities and add excitement to the celebration as residents of Graie prepare to commemorate Liberia’s national Flag Day.

The gesture further demonstrates Mr. Gbeimie’s with popular name Gen Mentee growing commitment to supporting communities in Nimba County through humanitarian assistance, cultural promotion, and community development initiatives.

Residents of Graie have expressed appreciation to Mr. Mentee Gbeimie and the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation for the timely donation, describing it as a meaningful contribution toward preserving and promoting local culture and community unity.

Gbeimie Gifts Matching Drums, Supports D-9 Youth and Fans Ahead of August 24 Flag Day

The Chief Executive Officer of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Mentee Gbeimie, has continued his support to young people and communities across Nimba County with a series of contributions to citizens of District #9.

As part of his August 24 Flag Day support, Mr. Gbeimie popularly known as Gen Mentee has purchased a set of matching drums for the youth of Graie, District #9, to support their cultural and community activities.

He also made a US$50 contribution to Nimba D9 TV and presented LRD$15,000 to the District #9 team for refreshments.

In addition, Mr. Gbeimie sponsored 30 people from District #9 to enter the Ganta Stadium free of charge to watch yesterday’s highly anticipated football match between District #9 and District #3 in Ganta.

The latest gestures have once again highlighted Mr. Gbeimie’s growing commitment to supporting young people, community initiatives, sports, culture, and local development.

For residents and supporters of District #9, the contributions are being welcomed as another demonstration of Mr. Gbeimie’s generosity and continued efforts to give back to the people of Nimba and Liberia.

Mr. Mentee Gbeimie’s support to communities is not new. His recent contributions add to a growing list of humanitarian interventions aimed at bringing hope, encouragement, and practical assistance to citizens across Nimba County.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Mentee Gbeimie, popularly known as Gen Mentee, has called on humanitarian organizations, philanthropists, and well-meaning citizens across Liberia to join efforts in supporting vulnerable and underprivileged people in communities across the country.

Mr. Gbeimie made the call during an appearance on Magkie FM Radio and TV in Ganta on Monday, August 17, where he and Bobson-Bob Trump Kwiti, a member of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, discussed the foundation’s humanitarian activities, vision, and future plans.

Speaking via telephone, CEO Gbeimie outlined the foundation’s commitment to reaching people who are struggling and suffering, particularly those whose needs often go unnoticed. He emphasized that many Liberians are in desperate need of assistance but have limited access to meaningful support.

According to Mr. Gbeimie, the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation is not intended to remain limited to Nimba County. He said the foundation has a broader vision of expanding its humanitarian activities across Liberia in the future, reaching communities and individuals in need regardless of their location.

He further appealed to the sons and daughters of Nimba and Liberia who have the capacity and willingness to help to come on board and contribute to the foundation’s mission.

“There are people who are struggling and suffering and need help, but no help is reaching them,” Mr. Gbeimie stressed, while encouraging other humanitarian foundations and organizations to collaborate with the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation to increase the impact of humanitarian interventions.

The CEO, who hails from District #9, Nimba County, has in recent months supported individuals, communities, students, sports teams, and vulnerable groups through various humanitarian initiatives.

The foundation’s leadership says collaboration remains essential to reaching more people and creating a stronger humanitarian network capable of responding to the needs of vulnerable Liberians.

The appearance on Magkie FM and TV forms part of the foundation’s efforts to engage the public, promote its humanitarian vision, and encourage collective action in addressing the challenges facing disadvantaged communities across Liberia.

GRAIE, Nimba County — Access to safe drinking water has been restored for residents of Graie Town, District #9, Nimba County, following the successful renovation of three damaged hand pumps by the Executive Director of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Mentee Gbeimie.

For several months, residents of Graie were reportedly faced with serious challenges accessing safe drinking water after the hand pumps serving their communities became damaged.

Upon learning about the situation, Mr. Gbeimie, a humanitarian and son of District #9, expressed disappointment that his fellow citizens were being forced to struggle for one of life’s most basic necessities.

Through his humanitarian foundation, Mr. Gbeimie has now ensured that the three spoiled hand pumps have been completely renovated and restored to working condition, bringing relief and renewed hope to the people of Graie.

Speaking about the intervention, Mr. Gbeimie emphasized his commitment to contributing to the wellbeing and development of the people of District #9, noting that access to clean and safe drinking water is essential to building healthy communities.

The latest intervention is part of what residents believe could be a broader development agenda under the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, as Mr. Gbeimie is reportedly eyeing additional humanitarian and development projects across District #9.

It is with deep gratitude and a humbled heart that I extend my warmest appreciations to all of you, both at home in Graie and across Monrovia, for your overwhelming welcome, trust, and unwavering support.

The launch of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation in Graie was a powerful testament to what we can accomplish when we unite with a shared vision for progress. To our revered elders and traditional leaders who bestowed upon us the immense honor and responsibility of entrusting the township into our care, we thank you for your faith and wisdom.

Seeing our community come together has energized our efforts and together, we have already made meaningful strides:
 Restoring Safe Drinking Water: Rehabilitating and restoring full operation to three community handpumps to ensure clean, safe water for our households.
 Community Infrastructure: Successfully providing the materials for the completion of the roof of our town palava hut as a central space for dialogue, unity, and governance.
 Sanitation and Town Health: Establishing a permanent monthly cleanup ordinance—every first Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM—and fully equipping township authorities with the necessary tools and supplies to keep Graie clean and healthy.

To the citizens residing in Monrovia who made the effort to visit my residence yesterday: your massive turnout, thoughtful words, and strong show of solidarity meant more than words can express. Knowing that our diaspora community stands firmly behind these development efforts reassures us that Graie’s future is bright.

I reaffirm my total commitment to working alongside each of you to guide and develop Graie Township with integrity, transparency, and dedication. True progress requires collective effort, and with your continuous support, wisdom, and prayers, we will build a community that future generations will be proud to inherit.

The Executive Director of the Gbeimie Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Mentee Gbeimie, popularly known as “Gen Mentee,” has once again demonstrated his commitment to supporting youth and community initiatives in Nimba County.

Mr. Gbeimie, on behalf of the foundation, has donated US$200 to the Intellectual Class of District #7 to support its ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse among young people in the district and across Nimba County.

The donation is intended to help facilitate an anti-drug awareness program scheduled for August 24, 2026, aimed at educating young people about the dangers of drug abuse and encouraging them to make positive choices.

Speaking on the initiative, Gen Mentee encouraged the Intellectual Class to remain committed to the fight against drugs, stressing the importance of protecting the future of young people in the county.

Although Mr. Gbeimie is a son of District #9, his humanitarian activities continue to extend beyond his home district. He believes in supporting youth and community programs that positively impact both young and elderly people, reflecting his commitment to giving back to society.
