As part of the 15th Annual Academic Sessions 2026, the Pre-Congress Nursing Officers’ Programme will be held on 17th March 2026 at the Old Auditorium, District General Hospital Nuwara Eliya.

Topic: “Core Bedside Essentials for Safe and Effective Nursing Care.”

The programme will focus on key practical aspects of bedside nursing care including patient monitoring, IV fluids and inotropes, line care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, and intercostal tube management.

This activity is accredited with 3 CPD points.

As part of the 15th Annual Academic Sessions 2026, the Pre-Congress Medical Officers’ Programme will be held on 17th March 2026 at the New Auditorium, District General Hospital Nuwara Eliya.

Topic: “Falls, Frailty and Fragility Fractures: A Multidisciplinary Practical Workshop.”

The programme will cover practical aspects of managing elderly patients including trauma stabilization, frailty assessment, anaesthetic optimization, fracture management, osteoporosis, and rehabilitation, followed by case discussions.

This activity is accredited with 2.75 CPD points.

We are pleased to announce the Main Congress of the 15th Annual Academic Sessions of the Hill Country Clinical Society, which will be held on 18th March 2026 at the New Auditorium, District General Hospital Nuwara Eliya.

This year’s theme is “Integrated Care Across the Lifespan: Strengthening Multidisciplinary Practice.” The programme includes plenary sessions and multidisciplinary symposia covering key areas of clinical practice.
