*යාපනය බෝට්ටු අනතුර: කඩිනම් පරීක්ෂණ පවත්වා වාර්තාවක් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලෙස අමාත්යවරයාගෙන් නියෝග*
යාපනයේ සිදු වූ බෝට්ටු අනතුරට බලපෑ මූලික හේතු සෙවීම සඳහා නාවික හමුදාව ඇතුළු අදාළ සියලුම අංශ සම්බන්ධ කරගනිමින් කඩිනම් පරීක්ෂණයක් පවත්වන ලෙස ධීවර, ජලජ හා සාගර අමාත්ය රාමලිංගම් චන්ද්රසේකර් මහතා උපදෙස් දී ඇත.
මෙම අනතුර සම්බන්ධයෙන් අමාත්යවරයා නිකුත් කළ ප්රධාන උපදෙස් සහ ක්රියාමාර්ග මෙසේය:

கடலில் சிக்கியிருக்கக்கூடியவர்களை தேடும் மற்றும் மீட்கும் பணிகளை தீவிரப்படுத்துமாறு அவர் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.
மேலும், மீட்பு நடவடிக்கைகளில் எந்தவித தாமதமும் ஏற்படாத வகையில் அனைத்து வளங்களையும் பயன்படுத்துமாறும் அதிகாரிகளிடம் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளார்.
அதேவேளை, பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள வைத்தியசாலை அதிகாரிகளுடனும் அமைச்சர் தொடர்புகொண்டு அவர்களின் உடல்நிலை குறித்து கேட்டறிந்துள்ளார்.

*Jaffna Boat Accident: Minister Orders Immediate Investigation*
The Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Ramaligam Chandrasekar, has instructed authorities to conduct an immediate investigation into the boat accident reported in Jaffna, with the involvement of the Sri Lanka Navy and all relevant agencies, in order to determine the root causes of the incident.
The Minister issued several key directives regarding the accident:
• Condolences and Assistance
The Minister expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy and assured that the government will provide all necessary relief and support to the affected families.
• Comprehensive Investigation
A detailed report has been requested on whether the boat involved in the accident was seaworthy, whether the number of passengers exceeded the permitted limit, and whether proper maritime safety procedures had been followed.
• Rescue Operations
The Minister has instructed the Police and the Sri Lanka Navy to intensify search and rescue operations for those missing at sea, utilizing all available resources without delay.
• Medical Care for the Injured
The Minister has also inquired about the condition of those hospitalized following the accident and has directed health authorities to ensure that the victims receive the best possible medical treatment.
According to reports, the boat capsized shortly after departing from the Gurunagar area in Jaffna while travelling toward Palathivu Island, leaving at least two people dead while several others were rescued and hospitalized.
