This elders home is at Kaduwela
THEY have 38 and situation is really bad
1) They need a colour wash to the place
2) Disinfectants, people to help and talk to them
3) Food Items
4) Medications ( Ill try to give out a list, one cancer patient)
5) Bed sheets, pillow cases, mac
intosh
6) Basics such as tooth brushes, soap , tooth pastes ( hygiene stuff )
7) Reading glasses ( sponsorship for medication)
8) Cloths (used or new for both male and female)
9) Mosquito nets
10) All elders keep there belongings in cardboard boxes ( If anyone can make them small trunks make it look clean and nicer, like steal boxers. I feel very sad seeing all their belongings just under there bed)
11) Chairs
12) Mattress (FOUND! )
13) Paint the doors
14) Total clean up for bathroom and kitchen
15) To arrange a place for worship for each religion, small corner
16) TO PAY Electricity or water bills (May be better to do it straight to electricity board and water board it self)
17) Toilet paper, things to wipe
ANY alms-givings, YOU like to give, are welcome there
PLEASE, let me know if you guys can do something help. We lankans need to look after our people. Specially poor old elders who have been put out of their own homes. I can't believe some ones mom or dad in this situ....
