The Embassy extends its warmest congratulations and sincere best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of the second anniversary of His Highness’s appointment as Crown Prince.

This significant occasion reflects Kuwait’s continued progress, stability, and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with the dedicated support and stewardship of His Highness the Crown Prince.

On the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Adha, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The two leaders exchanged warm Eid greetings and reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.

His Highness the Crown Prince reciprocated the greetings and conveyed best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of Pakistan and its people.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his greetings and best wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and thanked the Kuwaiti leadership for its steadfast support for Pakistan’s sincere peace efforts in the region. The Prime Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with the leadership and brotherly people of Kuwait.

The two leaders discussed the ongoing regional situation and underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and collective efforts for lasting peace and stability.

On the blessed occasion of Eid ul Adha, the Embassy extends its warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Government and the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait, as well as the vibrant Pakistani community and all expatriate communities celebrating in Kuwait.

May this blessed occasion bring peace, prosperity, harmony, and continued progress to Kuwait, Pakistan, and the entire Muslim Ummah. Eid ul Adha reminds us of the enduring values of sacrifice, compassion, unity, and solidarity that strengthen our societies and bring people together across cultures and communities.

Ambassador Dr. Zafar Iqbal met H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Minister of Defence of Kuwait.
The meeting reflected the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait. Both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and discussed avenues to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across diverse fields.

The Ambassador appreciated Kuwait’s continued warmth, friendship, and constructive engagement with Pakistan.

Ambassador Dr. Zafar Iqbal met with Mr. Mohamed A. Najia, Secretary General of the Kuwait Hotel Owners Association (KHOA), to discuss investment and partnership opportunities in Pakistan’s rapidly growing hospitality and tourism sector.

The meeting focused on strengthening engagement between Pakistan and Kuwait’s hospitality industry, including opportunities in luxury hotels, heritage hospitality, coastal tourism, integrated tourism zones, and destination development projects across Pakistan.

The Ambassador highlighted Pakistan’s tourism market, the facilitation mechanisms available through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and the strong potential for collaboration with Kuwaiti hotel owners, investors, and international hospitality brands.

Both sides also discussed cooperation in promoting Pakistani food and agro products within Kuwait’s hospitality and retail sectors through KHOA networks and platforms such as HORECA Kuwait.

The Embassy invited KHOA members and associated investors to explore Pakistan’s hospitality and tourism opportunities through dedicated engagements and future visits to Pakistan.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 “𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚-𝐞-𝐇𝐚𝐪" was commemorated at the Embassy with solemnity and national pride, paying tribute to the courage and resilience demonstrated by the people and Pak armed forces in response to the aggression Pakistan faced last year.

Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Zafar Iqbal stated that “Marka-e-Haq” remains a defining chapter in Pakistan’s contemporary history, symbolizing the nation’s unity, determination, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He emphasized that the professionalism and preparedness displayed by Pakistan’s armed forces sent a clear message that Pakistan’s defence is strong and fully capable of responding to any act of aggression.

The Ambassador further noted that the entire Pakistani nation stood united behind its armed forces during the challenging period, demonstrating exemplary solidarity and patriotism.

Messages of the leadership were read out. Participants paid tribute to the martyrs and appreciated the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan’s armed forces in defence of the homeland, while reaffirming solidarity with the people of Pakistan in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, peace, and national dignity.
