The man roles of DMHSA are:

1) Develop policy, strategies, guidelines, SOP, and other legislations related to mental health and substance abuse

2) Develop mental health and substance abuse services

3) Conduct Monitoring, supervision, and evaluation of mental health and substance abuse program and services through the country

4) Develop Human resource in mental health and substance abuse in collaboration with other training institution.
