Are Thai extremists childish?
Thailand has reportedly been disturbing villagers along the disputed areas in Prey Chan and Chork Chey villages by using high-volume speakers. For the fourth consecutive night since October 11, these extremists have been playing dog barking sounds, terrifying noises, and loud music to harass villagers in Prey Chan and Chork Chey villages, O Beichoan commune, O Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, which lie within Cambodian territory.
By doing so, Thai forces, in cooperation with Thai extremists led by Kan Jompalang, seem to have no real intention of resolving the conflict peacefully. Instead, they have chosen a senseless tactic aimed at depriving villagers of sleep. This action clearly violates human rights and seriously affects the mental and emotional well-being of the local people, including the elderly, the sick, and children. Furthermore, it shows a total disregard for the existing ceasefire agreement.
Thailand continues to behave childishly and playfully toward Cambodia. In August, Thai extremists reportedly planned to use sewage trucks to spray feces into Cambodia—an act both cruel and disgraceful, one that the civilized world condemns.
How can a modern and developed country behave in such an immature way?
