នាថ្ងៃទី ២៧-២៩ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រុមការងារវិទ្យាស្ថានជាតិវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍ (NISTI) បានចុះបំពេញបេសកកម្មនៅខេត្តកំពង់ធំ ដើម្បីសិក្សាស្វែងយល់អំពីតម្រូវការជាក់ស្តែង និងស្វែងរកដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកវិទ្យាលើ “ការប្រមូលផល និងបច្ចេកទេសកែច្នៃគ្រាប់ស្វាយចន្ទី”។

ក្នុងឱកាសនេះ ក្រុមការងារបានចុះជួប និងសម្ភាសន៍យ៉ាងស៊ីជម្រៅជាមួយ៖

✨ Field Study with Cashew Farmers and Processing Enterprises in Kampong Thom Province

From 27–29 May 2026, A team from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) conducted a field mission in Kampong Thom Province to better understand practical needs and explore technological solutions related to “cashew harvesting and processing techniques.”

During the mission, the team carried out in-depth interviews and discussions with:
✅ Relevant departments and stakeholders
✅ Six model cashew farmers
✅ Major local companies and processing enterprises

📊 The information and challenges collected during this mission will serve as valuable data for the development and implementation of technological solutions aimed at strengthening Cambodia’s cashew sector, improving efficiency, standards, and competitiveness.

ខេត្តកំពង់ធំ ថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ - វិទ្យាស្ថានជាតិវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍ (វ.ប.ន.) សហការជាមួយមន្ទីរឧស្សាហកម្ម វិទ្យាសាស្រ្ត បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍ ខេត្តកំពង់ធំ បានរៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាស្តីពី៖ «កម្មវិធីនៃការផ្តល់ដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកទេស ដល់សហគ្រាសធុនមីក្រូ តូច និងមធ្យម៖ ការកែច្នៃទឹកដោះគោខាប់ ពីស្វាយចន្ទី»។

សិក្ខាសាលានេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងក្នុងគោលបំណងបង្កើនចំណេះដឹងទាក់ទងនឹងការកែច្នៃស្វាយចន្ទី រួមជាមួយនឹងការផ្សព្វផ្សាយពីកម្មវិធីផ្ដល់ដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកទេសរបស់វិទ្យាស្ថានជាតិវិទ្យាសាស្រ្ត បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍។

✨ Cashew nut processing as an industrial operation plays a vital role in increasing value-added production and promoting national economic growth.

Kampong Thom Province, May 27, 2026 — The National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI), in collaboration with the Department of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of Kampong Thom Province, organized a workshop entitled: “Technical Solution Program: Processing Condensed Cashew Milk from Cashew Nuts.”

The workshop was conducted to strengthen participants’ knowledge of cashew processing technologies and value-added production, as well as to disseminate information on the technical solutions programs offered by the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI).

Supporting SMEs through Technical Solution & Collaboration

Phnom Penh as of May 26, 2026: The National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) conducted an online technical consultation session with Hasama Food Enterprise and Sopanhana Enterprise.

The purpose of this session was to better understand the key bottlenecks and challenges faced by these SMEs in their operations. Through open discussion and knowledge sharing, NISTI’s technical team provided practical solutions and recommendations to help improve productivity, product quality, and business performance.

This initiative reflects NISTI’s continued commitment to empowering local enterprises by delivering science-based solutions, fostering innovation, and strengthening the competitiveness of Cambodian SMEs.

Development of a Portable Drinking Water Filter

The team from the National Institute of Science, Technology, and Innovation (NISTI), in collaboration with researchers from the Water Innovation Lab and students from International University, have been developing a prototype for a "Portable Drinking Water Filter".

The objective of this study is to develop a drinking water filter capable of removing microorganisms, chemicals, and heavy metals using local raw materials (sand and charcoal) to provide safe drinking water in remote and high-risk areas.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to applying science and technology to solve real-challenges.
