Congratulations to Mr Kim Vuthy!!!!

Mr Kim Vuthy, a student from the International Scholarship Program of Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University, has been selected to represent Cambodian Advocacy and Policy Institute (API) in a study visit to the Philippines through the A-SASSY Project. Empowering youth to become future leaders on the regional and global stage.

This achievement reflects the growing leadership, global engagement, and potential of Cambodian youth under the guidance of Bour Kry and Ngoun Sdechpheakdey.

Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University, in collaboration with the Advocacy and Policy Institute, organized a training on “The Impacts of Climate Change and E-Learning Platforms” with participation from 80 students at Independence Hall, Phnom Penh.

The program aimed to strengthen awareness and capacity on today’s environmental challenges while promoting access to environmental education through online learning platforms.

Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University, in collaboration with the Advocacy and Policy Institute, organized a training program on Environmental Education, Climate Change, and E-Learning at Independence Hall, Phnom Penh, with participation from over 45 students and educators.

The program aimed to strengthen youth awareness on environmental protection, climate change, and sustainable leadership, while introducing students to the GenSea Academy e-learning platform to expand access to environmental education and green knowledge.

The initiative also reflects PSBU’s vision to integrate environmental studies into future academic programs and encourage young people to actively contribute to protecting the planet. 🌏✨

📢 Workshop on “Environmental Education, Climate Change, and E-Learning Platforms”

Students of Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University participated in a seminar on “The Role of the Intellectual Property Association of Cambodia and Mechanisms for Resolving Disputes Outside and Within the Court System” held at the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia.
The seminar was chaired by Her Excellency So Sreymich, representing Her Excellency Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, and featured prominent experts and legal professionals in the fields of intellectual property and dispute resolution. The event provided students with valuable insights into intellectual property protection, legal processes, and the importance of peaceful dispute resolution in Cambodia.

Students from the International Scholarship Program of Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University took part in the official launch of the ASEAN Green Youth Network (AGGA) on March 18–19, 2026, in Phnom Penh, with support from the European Union.

Bringing together 44 participants from 20 institutions across Cambodia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, the workshop created a platform for young leaders to collaborate on environmental protection and climate action.

Notably, Kim Vuthy, a PSBU scholarship student, was elected Vice President of AGGA in Cambodia, highlighting the strong leadership and commitment of youth in driving sustainable change.

Led by H.E Ngoun Sdechpheakdey, the programme focused on legal engineering, environmental governance, and public policy, alongside research planning and knowledge sharing. A tree-planting activity reinforced the link between academic learning and environmental action.

Students of the Dual Qualification Program at Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University joined an inspiring session on Communication Strategy, which is a key skill for success in today’s global world.

Led by Mr. Steven Cochrane, International Academic Advisor, the session focused on building strong relationships, active listening, cross-cultural communication, and leadership through responsible communication. Students also had the chance to improve their English, grow their confidence, and broaden their global mindset because improving communication and English skills helps students access more equal opportunities. Since communication, especially across cultures, supports understanding, cooperation, and responsible leadership.

The training on “Environmental Education, Climate Change, and E-Learning” was organized by Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University in collaboration with the Advocacy and Policy Institute and Green Umbrella Organization, with participation from representatives of 17 universities, institutes, and organizations.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of master trainers to teach and share knowledge on environmental protection, climate change, biodiversity, and green economy, while also introducing the use of e-learning systems to expand environmental education and make learning more accessible and effective.

This program helps raise awareness and encourages the education sector to actively participate in environmental protection and sustainable development. It also contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

✅ SDG 15: Life on Land
