DEPUTY PRESIDENT RIGATHI GACHAGUA's MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCES DURING THE INTERMENT OF THE LATE JCC BISHOP ALLAN KIUNA
🕊️Bishop Allan Kiuna was great servant of God. A man who has built from Scratch a marvelous church with a large following. On behalf of my family, I have come to say pole.
🕊️I'm sure Bishop Kiuna must have been a great teacher to Kathy Kiuna and with the teachings, Reverend Kiuna will be the vision carrier of JCC church.
🕊️The history of this bishop is one of simplicity. From the slum of Kariobangi to the streets of America. There is greatness in simplicity.
🕊️Like myself, this man (Bishop Kiuna) liked the truth. Truth is very enriching. Truth is in the bible and we shall continue telling Kenyans truth because truth will make us free.
🕊️I am delighted by the words of Bishop Kiuna's brother Magua that he will honour his brother by quitting alcoholism. This is very encouraging.
🕊️The admission of that great son tells us that as a country we must face this challenge of alcoholism head-on.
🕊️That is why as a government, we have said that the war on Illicit brew and drug abuse must continue uninterrupted.
🕊️To the Children of Kathy Kiuna, stay close to your mum. Take time and spend time with your mother.
🕊️To the church, hold Kathy's hand during this period until she is steady.
🕊️On the scourge of cancer, we have made great interventions to come up with an insurance scheme to try and support the cancer patients.
🕊️I'm encouraged that as a country unlike before we have equipment for cancer patients.
🕊️A lot of progress is being made to help families with chronic diseases so that patients can get equipment locally to treat those diseases including cancer.
🙏🇰🇪🙏Finally I have with me the condolences message from President William Ruto and I ask the church to pray for him during this period.🙏🇰🇪🙏
