It is with deep sorrow that I mourn the sudden passing of my dear friend, Hon. Gideon Konchellah, former MP and Minister of Kilgoris. We walked together in the Jubilee Party, where he served with distinction as he stood as Senate Candidate. His dedication to public service and his unwavering commitment to our people for 20 yrs will forever be remembered. My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, and the people of Kilgoris. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Yesterday, I inspected the roads in my Ward:

1. Setekโ€“Nyamo Ridge Road
2. Setek Road (construction scheduled to commence tomorrow)

I also inspected the Makalia Bridge, which has been a longstanding concern in our region. The bridge is nearing completion, and once operational, it will significantly improve connectivity and stimulate economic growth in our Ward due to its proximity to Nakuru City.

This project is funded through the Equalisation Fund, which has been further administered by the County Government.

Today at Ilmolelian, I joined mourners at the burial of my dear friend, Musa Musanka Kool, who departed far too soon. Together with family and friends, we shared in the grief and offered our condolences.

Musa, though gone too early, was not only a close friend but also a hardworking young man, outspoken, and full of compassion. He truly had a big heart.

Rest easy, my friend.

Present at the event were members of the clergy, Ambassador Frank Kibelekenya, Waziri Kool Kuntai, CEO Joseph Nkaiwuatei, Dr. Naikuni, among others.

Together with my colleagues in the Committee on Tourism, Wildlife and Culture in the Assembly ,we mirrored the highly awaited Narok County Wildlife Conservation Bill 2026.

Am happy to note the idea of considering beneficial conservation and this will eventually lead to the creation of Enesongoyo Conservancy.
