Today, I visited Maai-Mahiu Level Hospital so that the people of Maai-Mahiu can know how far our hospital has progressed. I want you to know that it is almost complete. All the major installations have been done, and a lot of work has already been accomplished. The good news is that some medical equipment has already started arriving.

In two weeks, I will be back there again to show you more progress, including the section where the morgue is located.

Hallo Maai-Mahiu!

I am pleased to inform the residents of Maai-Mahiu that the street lighting project is progressing well, and several areas have already benefited from the installation of lights.

So far, lights have been installed in:

Kwale Area

Bamboo Area near Redeemed Church

Gathima area

Kamuchira Emmanuel PCEA Area

Longonot Town

Githarane, Longonot

Jikaze Area

The work is still ongoing, and more areas will continue to be covered.

We remain committed to serving the people of Maai-Mahiu and delivering on the responsibilities entrusted to us by the residents. Together, we will continue working to improve security, accessibility, and development across our community.

Yesterday has been a powerful day of service in Maai-Mahiu Ward. We started by donating food to families affected by the floods, standing with them during this difficult time and reminding them they are not alone.

Later on, we rolled up our sleeves and joined the community in road works, managing to cover over 10 km. This is the spirit of unity and resilience that defines our people.

I’m currently in Governor Village, and I’m proud of the commitment and energy shown by everyone involved. Together, we will rebuild, restore, and move forward stronger.
