Huduma ya Serikali Mashinani at Kakubudu was a success! Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, 15 August 2026. Working under the leadership of H.E. President William Ruto, we strive to bring public services closer to the people. Pamoja tuijenge Kenya yetu.

Here is the community who received blankets and foodstuffs through Huduma ya Serikali Mashinani share what the support meant to them. Serikali iko karibu na wananchi, na huduma lazima ifike mashinani.

On Saturday morning at Musunji Comprehensive School in Tiriki East, Vihiga County, I joined residents and the full Sub-County security team for an open conversation on security, access to government services and other everyday concerns.

This video captures residents speaking directly about the issues affecting them, and the responses, guidance and contacts shared by the security team. Watch as Huduma ya Serikali Mashinani brings government closer to the people.

Public service earns trust when government shows up, listens and leaves with something to act on. That is the service I believe in.

After Musunji, I proceeded to Kakubudu Comprehensive School in Shiru Ward, Tiriki East, where I met residents through Huduma ya Serikali Mashinani, alongside DCC Michael Too, Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs.

We shared foodstuffs, blankets, soap and porridge flour, support that can mean a warmer night, a meal on the table and less pressure at home.

More importantly, we listened. Residents raised issues requiring National and County Government action, and I committed to follow up on those we can resolve quickly.

I also shared progress on projects being driven by Government to improve lives and livelihoods. We listen, act and bring service closer to where wananchi live.

The best public service does not begin behind a desk. It begins by showing up, listening and acting on what people say.

At Musunji Comprehensive School in Shiru Ward, Tiriki East, I spent Saturday morning with residents through Huduma ya Serikali Mashinani, sharing foodstuffs, blankets, soap and porridge flour with families.

More importantly, I listened. Residents spoke openly about the challenges they face, their priorities and the interventions they need from both levels of government.

I also shared updates on development programmes being implemented under H.E. President William Ruto, and assured residents that the concerns raised will receive the attention and follow-up they deserve.

I sincerely thank the people of Musunji and Shiru Ward for the warm welcome and openness. When citizens and government work together, we can turn local priorities into real progress.

I will follow up with the relevant authorities on the issues raised. Huduma kwa wananchi must be felt where people live.
