Why I Am Different

Politicians promise.
I Eric Bryce Oundo present a plan — with numbers, with financing, with results.

Others talk about free education.
I show you how it will be paid for.

Others talk about jobs.
I show you where the money comes from, how it circulates, and how it creates opportunities for youth and women.

👉 This is the difference.
I am not selling dreams. I am presenting a blueprint with a financing model that turns vision into reality.

📚 Free Education for Kasarani
KES 864M a year. After core costs, the surplus feeds our children, buys uniforms, and equips them with digital tools. No child left behind.

đź’Ľ Jobs for Youth & Women
KES 648M a year revolving fund. In 5 years, KES 3.24B in loans. 10,000+ jobs in construction, maintenance, and service.

đź’§ Water that Pays for Development
Solar boreholes in every ward. Clean water at KES 3 per 20L. From 150,000 households: KES 2.16B a year — your money funding your future.

This is not a speech.
This is not a slogan.
This is a financing model — practical, achievable, and transparent.

Hubris and the Fallacy of Indispensability

The annals of history remind us that arrogance, when married to power, often breeds self‑destruction. Consider the fraught relationship between President Abraham Lincoln and his erstwhile military chief, General George B. McClellan. At the outset of the Civil War, the two were close associates, bound by the urgency of national survival. Yet McClellan’s disdain for civilian authority soon metastasized into open contempt. He once derided Lincoln as a “well‑meaning baboon,” a remark that revealed not merely insolence but a profound misjudgment of character.

As commander of the Army of the Potomac, McClellan repeatedly ignored presidential directives, sometimes refusing outright to engage when the fate of the Union demanded action. Lincoln, patient to a fault, endured years of obstruction before finally dismissing him in 1862. McClellan, convinced of his own indispensability, swore that Lincoln’s presidency would collapse without his guiding hand. He predicted that the government would unravel before the election of 1864, and if by some miracle Lincoln survived to face the electorate, his defeat would be inevitable.

History, however, is merciless to prophets of hubris. McClellan sought the Democratic nomination in 1864, positioning himself as the instrument of Lincoln’s downfall. Yet the election delivered a verdict of staggering clarity: Lincoln triumphed in a landslide, while McClellan was reduced to a footnote, his arrogance buried beneath the weight of democratic will.

The Enduring Lesson

The moral is not obscure. McClellan’s saga illustrates the perennial fallacy of indispensability — the belief that institutions, nations, or leaders cannot endure without a single individual. Lincoln’s resilience proved otherwise. Leadership grounded in humility and principle outlasts the vanity of those who mistake themselves for the axis of history.

In the end, McClellan’s arrogance was his undoing, while Lincoln’s quiet resolve secured both the Union and his place among the immortals. The lesson is timeless: contempt may strut upon the stage for a season, but history belongs to those who endure with dignity.
