WHY DO SO MANY KENYANS BELIEVE FRED MATIANG’I SHOULD BE PRESIDENT?
Every election season, we hear promises.
Better roads.
More jobs.
Lower taxes.
A stronger economy.
But after the campaigns end, one question remains.
Who actually gets things done?
That is why many Kenyans keep mentioning Fred Matiang’i.
Not because he made the loudest speeches.
But because they believe his work speaks for itself.
When he served as Cabinet Secretary for Education, national examination reforms were introduced to tackle widespread cheating.
Later, as Cabinet Secretary for the Interior, many supporters felt that government coordination and security became more organized.
Was everything perfect?
