Through the NG-CDF of Mvita Constituency, we carried out the registration exercise for the Lifeguard Training Programme at RG Ngala Hall.

We appreciate all the constituents who turned up and showed interest in this important opportunity. The registered applicants will now proceed to a physical assessment, which will determine their suitability and placement for the training programme.

Through the NG-CDF Mvita Constituency, we awarded bursaries worth KSh 1,250,000 to 50 students from Mvita to fully cover the cost of their Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) course and Discharge Book at Bandari Maritime Academy.

This investment reflects our unwavering commitment to empowering our youth with globally competitive maritime skills, expanding employment opportunities and strengthening Mvita's participation in the blue economy.

The NG-CDF Mvita Constituency, under the leadership of Hon. Mohammed Soud Machele, on Thursay; 30th July 2026, delivered essential learning and skills development equipment to Makande Girls Secondary School as part of our ongoing commitment to improving education across the constituency.

The school received:

* 20 desktop computers with workstations
* 21 banquet chairs
* 20 sewing machines
* A 55-inch Smart TV

These resources will enhance digital literacy, strengthen practical skills training, and create a more conducive learning environment for students.

Hon. Mohammed Soud Machele was joined by the Chairperson of the NG-CDF Mvita Constituency and other Committee members during the visit, reaffirming our shared commitment to investing in quality education and empowering the next generation.

Today, Hon. Mohammed Soud Machele, MP for Mvita Constituency, presided over the issuance of NG-CDF Mvita Constituency college and university bursary cheques worth KSh 19 million to over 2,100 students at Ronald Ngala Grounds for the FY 2025/2026.

The bursary program will support students pursuing:

* Degree courses – KSh 10,000 each
* Diploma courses – KSh 8,000 each
* Certificate courses – KSh 6,000 each

This investment in education reflects the commitment of NG-CDF Mvita Constituency to ensuring that every deserving student has access to quality education and the opportunity to achieve their dreams while contributing positively to society.

Hon. Machele was joined by CECM Dr. Mbwarali Kame, NG-CDF Mvita Chairperson Mr. Ali Bafundi, committee members, Acting Fund Manager Mr. Abdulhakim Ali, chiefs, and other distinguished guests.

The Mvita NG-CDF yesterday successfully conducted the first day of public participation forums in Tudor Ward and Shimanzi/Ganjoni Ward, engaging residents on their priorities and proposals for projects to be implemented over the next financial year.
