Women's economic empowerment is not only a matter of justice but also a catalyst for sustainable development. Empowering women to engage in entrepreneurial activities contributes significantly to poverty reduction, community development, and overall economic stability. When women thrive, entire communities prosper.

This afternoon, Dr. Oscar Olima accompanied H.E. Governor Dr. Ochilo G.M. Ayacko to Migori Primary School, where the Governor Ochilo Ayacko joined the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning, Hon. John Mbadi, and other leaders from within and outside the county for a fundraiser in support of women's groups from Suna West Constituency.

The resilience and determination demonstrated by these women is truly inspiring, and Migori County Government remain committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen women's economic empowerment and improve livelihoods
