Following the national dissemination forum of the Do-NOU pilot project, implemented by CORE with support from the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) and the World Bank, the project team briefed H.E. the Governor Hon. Rev. Mutuma M'Ethingia , on results, scalability, and pathways for institutional adoption of the project.

The Do-NOU pilot project, was successfully delivered in five (5) wards within Meru Municipality and 50 SMEs community groups were trained on tested data-driven, community-led approaches to urban service delivery, inclusion, digital and community-driven urban technologies, thus creating a practical pipeline for skills transfer. These SMEs will serve as demonstration hubs, showcasing the technology as other counties benchmark and explore replication.

The County Government of Meru - 012 is positioning itself not just as a pilot site, but as a knowledge and innovation hub for urban transformation.
