KWALE MUNICIPALITY GREENING INITIATIVE
Trees play a crucial role in mitigating climate change, improving air quality, conserving water, and providing habitat for wildlife. Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness about the benefits of trees and empower our citizens to actively participate in preserving our environment.

The tree planting activities will take place across various locations within our municipality, including parks, schools, residential areas, and public spaces. Our goal is to plant a diverse range of indigenous and adapted tree species that are well-suited to our local climate and ecosystem.

We encourage all residents of Kwale Municipality to get involved in this noble endeavor. Whether you are an individual, a family, or part of a community organization, there are numerous ways you can contribute. You can volunteer your time for planting and nurturing trees, organize tree planting events, or even sponsor the purchase of tree seedlings.

We extend our gratitude to all the individuals and organizations that have already shown their support for the Kwale Municipality Tree Planting Exercise. Your dedication to environmental conservation is commendable, and together, we can create a sustainable and vibrant ecosystem that benefits us all.
We have partnered with Kenya Forest Services, Golini Primary and Kwale Community Environmental Conservation group(KCECG) to plant more than 1000 seedlings. KCECG is a youth woman lead organization aiming at environmental conservation, clean up around Kwale Town and tree nursery project.
Let us unite as a community and make a positive difference for our environment. Together, we can sow the seeds of a greener future and create a legacy of environmental stewardship for generations to come. Join us in the Kwale Municipality Tree Planting Exercise and be a part of this remarkable journey towards a more sustainable and resilient municipality.
