Our neighbours Rwanda has done a lot to ensure that Genocide does not happen again, have we done anything to avert post election violence?
We have Trauma informed counsellors at hand to help you through this journey....

But you remember the tension.

The sudden school closures.
The whispered adult conversations.
Being told to stay inside.
The fear you didn’t fully understand.

Today, as elections approach again,
you might feel uneasy.
Irritated by political noise.
Or emotionally withdrawn.

That’s not random.

Psychologists call it ACEs — Adverse Childhood Experiences.
When children are exposed to conflict, instability, or fear,
their nervous systems learn to stay alert.

Even years later adverse childhood experiences ACE will affect you!

Sometimes the mind forgets.
But the body remembers.

And here’s the important part:

You are not that child anymore.

You are a generation with awareness.
With voice.
With the power to break cycles.

We can remember without repeating.
We can disagree without destroying.
We can engage without violence.

Let’s protect our peace — especially our mental health.
