Today's Proverb
βA vulture never asks who killed, it only asks if the meat is still warm.β
This proverb cuts deeper than it looks, itβs not really about vultures, itβs about human behavior.
It describes people who donβt care about how something happened, only about what they can gain from it.
A vulture doesnβt investigate the cause of death. It doesnβt ask questions about fairness, effort, or justice. It simply checks one thing: Is there something for me to benefit from right now?
Some people show up only when there is something to gain.
They donβt contribute to the struggle, but they are first in line for the reward.
They ignore effort, sacrifice, and truth, focusing only on opportunity.
In business: People who didnβt invest suddenly appear when profits come.
In leadership: Opportunists align themselves with power, not principle.
In social circles: Some friends disappear during hard times but return when things improve.
Core lesson:
Be careful of βvulturesβ in your life of those who hover silently during your struggle but land quickly when thereβs something to take.
