‎I wish to express my profound sorrow and concern following the tragic incident at Sigowet Centre that resulted in the loss of a young life. This senseless act is unacceptable and has no place in our society.
‎I have directed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers at Sondu Police Station to immediately fast-track their investigations and ensure that all those responsible are identified, arrested, and prosecuted in accordance with the law. There will be no tolerance for criminality, and justice must be served without fear or favour.
‎To the family of the deceased, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences during this painful time. I stand with you in mourning and in your pursuit of justice.
‎I also call upon residents of Sigowet and the surrounding areas to remain calm, exercise restraint, and refrain from taking the law into their own hands. I urge anyone with information that may assist the investigations to cooperate fully with the relevant authorities.
‎As your Member of Parliament, I remain steadfast in my commitment to protecting the lives, security, and well-being of every resident. We will continue working closely with the security agencies to ensure those responsible are held fully accountable and that peace, law, and order prevail throughout our constituency.
