News just broke that Zuchu is set to headline the CHAN final match between Madagascar and Morocco at Kasarani Stadium. Honestly, this is both disheartening and embarrassing. Performing in Kenya isn't bad , we welcome all East African stars but why should she be the one to headline such a monumental event on Kenyan soil?

Are there no musicians in Kenya? Are we saying our own artists cannot carry the weight of such a stage? This is a low blow to our vibrant music industry. From Nyashinski, Khaligraph, Bien, Otile Brown, Nadia Mukami, Femi One, Nameless, Bahati , the list of Kenyan heavyweights is endless. Many of them have proved they can pull crowds bigger than Zuchu.

Yes, we've heard that artists from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will perform. But making Zuchu the main act is a total insult to Kenyan talent. Kenya has more than enough superstars who can headline the CHAN finals with pride. This decision feels like a direct statement that our industry isn't good enough , which is completely false. This is not just about music, it's about respect. If the event is happening in Kenya, the face of the stage should be Kenyan. Period. Anyway Itabidii tuzoee
