To our community this looks like a miracle. Public water flowing in a pipe is like drawing water from a rock fo us. Thanks to God for hearing our years of cry. To Kikuyu water company this is a huge milestone as we seek to connect homes to the water.

Great news! We saw a glimmer of hope last evening when water company finally released water along our new line. It’s a small step, but a sign that our efforts are making an impact.
We continue to push for a lasting solution, and we will not relent until our community gets the water we rightfully deserve. Let’s keep the faith and pray to God that this breakthrough turns into a full supply.

A Life Changed, A Future Secured

Yesterday 18th January, was one of the most fulfilling days of my life. Back in 2021, a neighbor approached me about a young boy in Form 2 who had completely lost interest in school. His grandmother and close relatives was at her wit's end, and after many failed attempts by others to talk to him, I became the last resort. I’ll never forget that moment when we took a walk outside my gate, just talking for half an hour. I listened, shared my thoughts, and encouraged him to see the bigger picture. A few days later, his grandmother told me he went back to school the very next day.

Fast forward to yesterday, and that same boy’s grandmother couldn’t hold back her tears of gratitude. The boy, who once wanted to give up, has now completed school and is preparing to pursue a technical course to build his career. She said, “If it wasn’t for you, he wouldn’t have made it.” That moment was priceless. I felt a tear or two about to drop. It reminded me of the power of empathy, patience, belief in others and God's miraculous transformation.

For the past four years, I’ve dedicated myself to mentoring young students in my larger community, sacrificing my small resources and time to shape a brighter future for them. Some whom I even haven't met their parents but they have life stories so touching at their young ages. Stories like this make it all worth it.

This kind of story gives us more encouragement to keep uplifting each other, one young life at a time. God bless

Our Kenyan problems are beyond tribes. They need new solutions and strategies.

This is super! Doing the right thing makes all the difference. By all fronts this was a brave act.

When the Catholic Fathers speak it rings a memory of the Moi days. It just reminds me of Rev. Njoya.
