Today, KSG Embu Campus officially launched the first program under the KSGUndertheTreeSeries, an innovative outreach initiative designed to bring learning, skills development, and government services closer to communities.
The inaugural program, Entrepreneurship for Youth Engaged in SMEs, championed by KSG EMBU Campus Director Dr Ann Kangethe, brings together young entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, and community members to explore practical pathways for enterprise growth, economic empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods
Through this initiative, the School is reaffirming its commitment to inclusive capacity development by taking training beyond traditional classrooms and directly into communities where it is needed most. Under the shade of trees in Turbi, participants are engaging in conversations on entrepreneurship, business opportunities, and access to government programmes that can help transform ideas into thriving enterprises.
As we begin this week-long learning journey, we celebrate the resilience, creativity, and potential of young people who continue to drive local economic development across Marsabit County.
Together, we are nurturing skills, creating opportunities, and empowering communities; one conversation, one idea, and one entrepreneur at a time.
