I take this opportunity to thank His Excellency the Governor Ken Makelo Lusaka for gracing the fund drive function at Mungeti catholic church.

The fund drive was to uplift Catholic Women Association for kibabii Parish who plan to have full fledged Catering services so that it keeps them busy and also acts as an incoming generating activity.

I also thank the area mp for coming and contributing for this noble course. Other guests present were Hon. Sudi MCA South Bukuku in Bumula constituency, Hon. Tony MCA Lwandanyi ward in Sirisia constituency and Robert Simiyu Chief officer Bungoma county among others.

I thank the CWA group for coming up with such an initiative because the Bible says when you empower a woman you empower the community and am so sure that this initiative will not only benefit women but the entire community either directly or indirectly..

In everything we do in life, consistency is key, this was the sixth edition of giving the newly joining students boxes just as a way of easing up the burden to our parents when purchasing requirements for school.

More than 500 students benefited in this year's edition and we strive to do more in future.

I encouraged parents to try and play their part in making sure they pay school fees even if it means doing it through installments so that our students are not sent home regularly for school fees.

I also affirmed that the county government and national government have agreed to include bursary funds in our next budget allocations. This will help the needy students apply for bursaries and it will really help them.

Lastly I urged our good people to remain focused and not be misled by some people especially our opponents who have no agenda for our people. I promised that we shall ensure that we work for our people and especially my Ward people who have believed in me and given me three terms in office, that I will always strive to ensure that whatever little I have I bring hereforth so that we can share and improve our livelihood. I urged my fellow leaders to empress the same and give priority to our people who woke up very early in the morning to vote for us. I will personally try and reach out to those day scholars who have not benefited from the boxes so that I can give them something to add on for school fees so that our students are served equally.

Present today was the County assembly of Bungoma speaker Emmanuel Situma, Lwandanyi ward MCA, Hon. Tonny and Namwela Ward MCA Hon. Nangulu among others.

Thank you so much my good people..

Luke 3:10-11: “‘What should we do then?’ the crowd asked. John answered, ‘Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.’”

Luke 6:28: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Encouraged by these two biblical verses, today I shared my Christmas to my people who were not only from my Ward but neighboring wards too.

I took the opportunity to thank them for overwhelming voting for me all this time. I assured them that I will try my best not to let them down. I Will forever cherish these good people. I urged anyone who has a heart to help especially my fellow leaders to extend this Christmas token to our people so that as we celebrate they can also celebrate with us.

I also reminded parents who have school going pupils and students to spare something as they celebrate so that when schools opens they have something to take to school as school fees.

Lastly I took the Golden chance to wish them Merry Christmas and prosperous New year 2026. May the Lord bless our families so that the new year comes with abundant blessings.

I joined Speaker Moses Masika Wetang'ula, E.G.H,MP in condoling with the family of Hon. John Makali, MP Kanduyi for the burial of mheshimiwa's elder bro Retired Mwalimu Patrick Makali who was laid to rest today at his home opposite Lifecare hospital in Bungoma Town.

I render my condolences to the family of mwalimu, the widow and his children he has left behind, we pray that, as the bible says we hope for resurrection, they stay with that hope so as he rests he takes part in interceding for the family prayer's to God. That's the hope of believers.

I extend my pole to my mp ,my friend, mheshimiwa Hon. John Makali, MP Kanduyi that as he says Mwalimu took care of him, that for sure is a big loss to him and the entire family, his wisdom shaped the family and will dearly be missed. We together pray that God rests his soul in peace.

In his homily, the Curate priest of Bungoma Cathedral Rev. Fr. Mambo urged politicians to embrace peace and harmony especially during election times.

it's with a heavy heart full of sorrow to learn the passing of Mzee James Mukhwana Wetang'ula...

Pole sana to his family led by kukhu Jane Mukhwana, the widow,Madam Ethel Nakhumicha as the first born,Wakili Emmanuel Wetang'ula, Dr. Sylvanus Wekesa and the entire family.

Pole pia sana kwa mheshimiwa Speaker Moses Masika Wetang'ula, E.G.H,MP and mheshimiwa Hon. Timothy Wanyonyi for losing your elder brother who really shaped your destinies in life.

Personally I have known the late since my childhood and on a few occasions that we've met I learned that he was a devoted family person full of wisdom and had a soft heart, his advice and help will truly be missed by the community he lived in at Tuuti and his family too.

May God grant the family strength during this grieving moment and may his soul find peace in eternity.

I was delighted to Host The Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Moses Masika Wetang'ula in a fund-drive to aid in construction of Modern storey Building for the classrooms at St. Monica Mungeti primary school.

The is among the most populated schools in the region but has dilapidated classrooms which are very old and can't withstand the high population of the pupils/ students.

The speaker who was the Chief guest urged parents to hold hands together with the administration to boost the infrastructure of the school. He promised to Walk with the parents and administration of the school to make sure that a journey they've started today of constructing 18 classrooms is realized.

I thanked the administration for coming up with such a good idea of going for a storey Building because of the scarcity of land and for facelifting the school infrastructure of the school. I urged them to make good use of the little available resources well so that together we can achieve the dream of having the classrooms completed in good time.

Today was a historical day at our Kibabii vocational training center where I joined the governor of Bungoma His Excellency Rt. Hon. Kenneth Makelo Lusaka, in gracing the 4th graduation ceremony at the Institution ground around Bukananachi.

I affirmed my commitment in changing the Institution's outlook in the next two years. I confirmed that we have allocated some funds for construction of a new modern gate and facelift the Institution's buildings.

I also urged the governor to make the institute a centre of excellence and equip each department so that our students can get a good learning environment.

I personally thank the governor for his commitment to allocate funds for purchase of land for expansion of the Institution. He also promised to work hand in hand with the institution's management to partner with county government so that some skill can be useful to make items and services with the county government.

I thank the management for the far they've brought the Institution and challenged them to do more to take the Institution to the next level.. I call upon parents to make use of the Institution by bringing more students to learn and train.

lastly I congratulated the graduates for the hard work they put in to achieve this..
