✨ Honored to be back at Temple University Japan (TUJ) in Sangenjaya! 🇯🇵

This week I’m joining the “Life After TUJ” panel, representing the government and global security sector — sharing my journey from being a Political Science student to serving as a U.S. Navy Reserve Prior Service Recruiter & Benefits Advisor here in Japan. ⚓️🇺🇸

It’s surreal walking the same halls that started it all. TUJ gave me the foundation to lead, serve, and connect across cultures — lessons that continue to shape my life today.

Grateful for the chance to speak with the next generation of leaders, share my story, and (hopefully) inspire a few to consider a career in public service! 🙏

🇺🇸 Veterans Day 2025 🇺🇸

Today, I pause to honor every man and woman who has worn the uniform — those who stood the watch before us, those standing it now, and those preparing to take it next.

I’m proud to have served and to continue serving alongside some of the most dedicated, selfless, and resilient individuals our nation has ever produced. The Navy — and the broader military family — has given me purpose, direction, and lifelong friendships that continue to shape who I am today.

To my fellow veterans: thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your continued commitment to something greater than yourselves. To those still in uniform: stay the course, stay proud, and know that your service makes a difference every single day.

And to those who wish to continue serving — whether through the Reserves or community leadership — your story isn’t over. The call to serve doesn’t always end when the active duty chapter closes.

Fair winds and following seas to all my shipmates, brothers, and sisters in arms. 🇺🇸⚓

⚓🇺🇸 Grateful for 18 Years in the United States Navy 🇺🇸⚓

As the Navy celebrates its 250th birthday, I can’t help but reflect on what this organization has meant to me. For the past 18 years, the United States Navy has given me more than a career — it’s given me purpose, resilience, lifelong friendships, and most importantly, it’s how I met my amazing wife, my partner through every deployment and late-night watch. 💙

From my first days learning what it truly means to serve, to now having the privilege of helping others navigate their own Navy journeys, every chapter has been filled with growth, challenge, and incredible people who’ve shaped my life in ways I’ll never forget.

To all my shipmates — past, present, and future — thank you for standing the watch and for inspiring me daily. Here’s to the Navy, to service, and to the people who make it all worth it.

Fair winds and following seas. ⚓
