CMC Bernhard, we wish you and your family fairwinds and following seas.

Your leadership, mentorship, and unwavering dedication have profoundly impacted every member of this command. For years, you have been the standard-bearer, guiding us with wisdom and a steady hand and reminding us to live by your ethos: Attitude, Effort, and Integrity. These three principles, now ingrained in our command's culture, are a testament not just to your leadership, but to your character as a true shipmate.

Thank you for everything. As you embark on your next chapter, we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your service and sacrifice. Your legacy will undoubtedly endure in the sailors you have guided and the command you have shaped.
