６月６日（土）、第５４次派遣海賊対処行動水上部隊「たかなみ」が中東地域での任務に就くため、我々の活動をお支えいただくご家族、親族、関係者の皆様に見守られ母港である横須賀港を出港（出国）しました。
同部隊は、現在行動中の「ゆうだち」と任務交代を行い、ソマリア沖・アデン湾において、商船を海賊行為から防護し、海上交通路の安全を確保するとともに中東地域の情報を収集する任務に従事します。
防衛省・自衛隊は、引き続き中東地域を含む国際社会の平和と安定に寄与してまいります。

On June 6, the 54th Deployment Surface Force for Counter-Piracy Enforcement, JS TAKANAMI, departed its home port of Yokosuka for the Middle East to commence its mission under the watchful support of families, relatives, and all those who stand behind our mission. The unit will conduct a relief-in-place with the currently deployed JS YUDACHI and carry out operations off the coast of Somalia and in the Gulf of Aden. Its mission includes protecting commercial vessels from piracy, ensuring the safety of sea lanes, and collecting information in the Middle East region. The Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces will continue to contribute to peace and stability in the international community, including the Middle East.

統合作戦司令官は５月２６日、在日米軍司令官スティーブン・ジョスト空軍中将の招待により在日米軍横田基地を訪問し、地域の安全保障環境について協議すると共に、在日米軍司令部の統合軍司令部への変革に関する説明を受けました。
#統合作戦司令部は在日米軍司令部を始めとする米軍との更なる連携強化を通じ、引き続き日米同盟の抑止力・対処力を一層強化し、我が国の防衛と地域の平和及び安定のため、より大きな役割を果たしていきます。

On 26 May 2026, Admiral Tawara, Commander, Japan Self-Defense Forces Joint Operations Command（） visited Yokota Air Base, at the invitation of U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen Stephen Jost, Commander of U.S. Forces, Japan（）, to discuss regional security and receive a briefing on the transformation of U.S. Forces Japan into a Joint Force Headquarters.The JJOC will continue to strengthen the deterrence and response capabilities of the Japan-U. S. Alliance and play an even greater role for the defense of Japan and regional peace and stability by further strengthening cooperation with U.S. Forces including the USFJ.

#統合作戦司令部は、５月１８日から２２日にかけて #日米共同統合演習の調整会議を実施しました。
本会議では、１０月に予定されている実動訓練において、同盟国・同志国との連携を更に強化し、宇宙・サイバー・電磁波を含む領域横断作戦を円滑に実施するための各種調整を行いました。
統合作戦司令部及び米インド太平洋軍は、引き続き日米同盟の抑止力・対処力を一層強化し、我が国の防衛と地域の平和及び安定に寄与してまいります。

The JSDF Joint Operations Command( ) held a coordination meeting for the Japan-U. S. Bilateral Joint Field Training Exercise Keen Sword from May 18 to 22.At this session, various coordination efforts were conducted to further strengthen cooperation with allies and like-minded countries and to ensure the smooth implementation of cross-domain operations across the electromagnetic spectrum, space and cyber, for the field training exercise scheduled to be held in October.
The JJOC and U.S. INDOPACOM will continue to strengthen the deterrence and response capabilities of the Japan-U. S. Alliance and play an even greater role for the defense of Japan and regional peace and stability.

５月１４日、俵千城統合作戦司令官は、オーストラリアのヒュー・マカスラン統合作戦本部副本部長と懇談を行いました。
同日、藤岡史生統合作戦副司令官は、マカスラン副本部長と統合作戦司令部間協議（Joint Operations Command Talks）を行いました。
本協議は、４月１８日の日豪防衛相会談結果及び５月４日の日豪首脳会談結果を踏まえ議論を行いました。
藤岡副司令官及びマカスラン副本部長は、今後とも統合作戦司令部間協議を継続的に開催し、インド太平洋地域の平和と安定に向けた取り組みに焦点を置いて、作戦運用レベルの更なる連携強化を図ることで一致しました。

On 14 May, Admiral Tawara, Commander, JSDF Joint Operation Command met with Major General McAslan, DSD, Deputy Chief of Joint Operations (DCJOPS), Australia.

On the same day, Lieutenant General Fujioka, Deputy Commander, JJOC, held Joint Operations Command Talks (JOCT) with Major General McAslan, DCJOPS. During the talks, the two sides held discussions in accordance with the outcomes of Japan-Australia Defense Ministerial Meeting on 18 Apr and as instructed by the Prime Ministers of both countries in Japan-Australia Leaders’ Meeting on 4 May.

Lieutenant General Fujioka and Major General McAslan agreed to continuously hold JOCT on a regular basis and to further enhance operational-level cooperation, with a focus on efforts to promote peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

#統合作戦司令部は、 #米比主催多国間共同訓練 #バリカタン26 において、４月１８日から５月９日の間、情報発信分野に関する活動を米比を含む参加国と共同で実施しました。
同盟国及び同志国関係者との対面による調整、認識の共有等により、信頼の醸成及び相互理解の促進を図りました。
統合作戦司令部は、情報発信分野に関する活動を継続し、領域を横断した能力の更なる強化に努めます。

The JSDF Joint Operations Command（） conducted information dissemination-related activities together with participating countries, including the Philippines and the United States, during the Philippine-hosted Multilateral Exercise from 18 April to 9 May.
Working shoulder to shoulder, we built trust and promoted mutual understanding through face-to-face coordination and shared situational awareness with allies and like-minded countries.
The JJOC will continue to engage in information dissemination-related activities and make efforts to further strengthen and develop cross-domain capabilities.

#統合作戦司令部は、５月４日から７日にかけインドネシアで実施されたADMMプラス人道支援・災害救援（HA/DR）専門家会合による実動訓練に向けた最終計画会議に参加しました。
本会議では９月に予定されている実動訓練に向け、各国の要望事項の確認や現地確認等を行い、担当者間で具体的な調整を実施しました。
統合作戦司令部は、引き続き様々な機会を通じて、ASEAN各国や同志国との防衛協力関係の強化に寄与してまいります。

The JSDF Joint Operations Command( ) participated in the Final Planning Conference held by ADMM-Plus Experts’ Working Group on HA/DR in preparation for the field training exercise in Indonesia from 4 to 7 May.The conference focused on confirming requirements and conducting activities, including a site survey, in preparation for the field training exercise scheduled for September. It also served as an opportunity for detailed coordination among staff officers at the working level. The JJOC will continue to contribute to strengthening defense cooperation with member states and partner nations through various opportunities.

4月20日~21日、横田和司統合作戦司令部作戦副部長は、 #米比主催多国間共同訓練 #バリカタン26 のオープニングセレモニー及びシニア・リーダーズ・セミナーに参加するとともに、遠藤和也駐フィリピン日本国大使を表敬しました。
また、３月に引き続き、統合軍関係者と再会し、関係国間での連携や領域横断作戦に係る統合共同作戦能力の維持・向上等について意見交換を行いました。

Rear Admiral Yokota, Deputy Director of Operations, JSDF Joint Operations Command, attended the opening ceremony of the Multilateral Exercise hosted by the U.S. and the Philippines. He also participated in the Senior Leaders Seminar and paid a courtesy call to Mr. Kazuya Endo, Special Envoy of Japan to the Philippines.
Following on from meeting in March, he met with personnel related Joint Force to exchange opinions among the relevant countries and the maintenance and improvement of joint operation capabilities for Cross Domain Operations.

4月14日、ケイラー #米太平洋艦隊司令官が来訪し、俵 #統合作戦司令官と懇談しました。本訪問は、ケイラー大将による俵新司令官着任後初の訪問であり、両司令官はこれまでの取り組みの成果や現下の課題等を確認し、新体制のもとでも、引き続き両国のさらなる関係強化を図ることで一致しました。

On 14 Apr, Commander ADM Koehler visited Commander ADM Tawara. This was his first visit since ADM Tawara assumed the position. The two commanders discussed previous efforts and present challenges, affirming to continue further enhancing bilateral relations.
